Auxiliary Through Lane Candidate Sites

Greetings!

An auxiliary through lane (ATL) is a limited length through lane added upstream and downstream of an intersection.

Please use the map to mark and comment on ATL treatments you know of. These will become candidate sites for calibrating and creating a model for estimating ATL utilisation at signalised intersections.

Comments you may want to add include:

  • completed construction date
  • reference of past studies carried out
  • anecdotal evidence (e.g. no body uses it, safety issues)
  • Intersecting streets
