A middle turn lane is sorely needed in this area. The beaver sports, pita restaurant/businesses and housing areas on both sides of the road make turning left from either direction incredibly risky during high volumes of traffic.

Alaska Way does not meet College Road in a square intersection. It curves out of the right of way and due to the curve on College, one has limited site distance to the west. The snow berms also hinder site distance.
-
Relocate this intersection to get rid of the tight right into bentley mall and the blind corner on the building. I have seen it hit several times.
-
Could a pedistrian right of way be put in through here Bike path to eliminate peoples need to go through the johanson intersection
-
Is there any way to get another connection from wedgewood back to College. Even pedestrian access would be really appreciated and reduce the load on Antionette.
-
Could the fair enterence be improved? It is such a strange little intersection. Gravel is fine, just more deliberate and set up for big trucks. Fire Trucks
-
try to keep this intersection narrow as you can, while providing turn lanes, so the walk signs are not really long for the kids going to school, University and College is just a HUGE walk across.
-
provide a permentant summer and winter access to the slough in this area. The north american would really appreciate it.
-
could there be a public access to the slough in this area. Would be great for summer recreation, winter recreation, and helping keep the slough clean.
-
remove this fence and widen the sidewalk here. Ugly and always feel to close to traffic
-
put some pole mounted street lights down at eye level. You can not see the ones on the bridge if you do not stop way back.
-
Please Please Please install a wide sidwalk here similar to the north side.

It would be wonderful to have a bike path along College Road. It would be most beneficial to me if the path connected with the bike path on University and continued down college to at least the Johansen intersection. It is a hazard to walking pedestrians when bikes ride on the sidewalk, but the road is very dangerous to ride on. There is no shoulder for the bikes to ride in, therefore they are forced to ride in the road, which puts them in great danger with traffic.

We need turning lanes on College Road so people can safety turn into the businesses. I have seen others get rear-ended waiting to turn into Geraldo’s and I’ve been rear-ended myself trying to turn into my work parking lot at Design Alaska.
Also, a bike path leading from the Transit Bus Station straight down Cushman/Illinois Streets to College Road would be a blessing too. (just saying)Thanks

The sidewalk is a little discomforting, as there is no buffer between the pedestrians and the traffic.
-
Turn outs from these parking lots are a dangerous vehicle-pedestrian issue. Business signage impedes the view of southbound traffic making it difficult to enter safely onto College Road.
-
The length of this on ramp needs to be increased further north along College Road. Traffic backs up here all the time waiting for the light and traps vehicles trying to get onto the Expressway.
-
Please realign this dangerous offset intersection. It is particularly confusing because the overhead traffic signal is not aligned with both crossing streets, which makes the stopping location difficult to identify (particularly in winter time).

A second to the crossing issue mentioned by other commenter, particularly at his location which is around quite a few businesses and also near turn in the road which hides oncoming high-speed traffic from the east.

When vehicles are accessing the Farmer's Market at this entrance it makes it very difficult to turn onto College Road from Caribou Way and onto Caribou Way from College Road traveling westbound. Vehicles traveling east on College are stopped to turn left in the inside lane and vehicles behind often change lanes (sometimes very suddenly) to avoid stopping. It's extremely hard to judge what other drives are going to do so it is often easier to avoid that intersection all together. Residents who live in this area sould be able to access the neighborhood they live in without taking the 'scenic route'. My suggestion would be a to perform a traffic count and see if this 'intersection' warrants some type of traffic control measure such as a round-a-bout or center turn lane.

Hoping for a left turn traffic signal at Antoinette Ave, which has high volume of cars and is notorious for accidents.
-
The road is just to narrow for all that is going on. Bike paths, business turn ins and constant road intersections. The road just has to be wider to safely accommodate all of it.

This intersection is a challenge since the one way onto RJ loop does not line up with Westwood Way on the other side of College. Often cars are at odds to figure out who goes where when opposing cars are trying to turn off of College onto RJ and Westwood. I always feel like this is an accident waiting to happen intersection. Perhaps a stop light?
