  9. March 17 2014

    Blue Creek

For someone who does not drive and uses the bus everyday, I would love to have access to Riverfront Park!

This is the right place! 32nd Shiloh is where traffic is busy, this is the closest lineup with 32nd &Shiloh and would provide a quick way out of the congestion on 32nd, to the heights. This is the innerbelt loop, not the outerbelt loop.

  11. March 17 2014

It only makes sense to allieviate congestion at the Lockwood Exit if the new route connects with the interchange, not to mention it would take alot less time to get to the heights and north bound on hwy 87 when coming into Billings from either 90 or 94 without having to get off the freeway and then backtrack to the new road.

  12. March 17 2014

It appears that while much of Lockwood is included in the study, none of its critical needs for for safe walkways or bike trails are even recognized, let alone addresed. My impression of this plan is that it is not a city-county plan but a city and soon to be annexed city plan.

    Lockwood Service Expansion

The voters passed the increase for sidewalks and lights - please make sure this is a priority. Also the traffic congestion in Lockwood is horrendous. Is there something that can be done to alleviate it? The intersection at Old Hardin Road and Johnson Lane needs to be revamped.

    M20

Please contact Yellowstone River Parks Association at yrpa.org. We are developing a privately owned public park in this area on 5 Mile Creek. We have a trail easement under the Mary Street bridge.

    Mary Street Option 2

Please double check plot of Mary Street option. It does not go through the treed gulley north of 5 Mile.

  18. March 16 2014

Why not use the city owned RR grade easement to extend the Kiwanis Trail?

  19. March 16 2014

Fix the area that was worked on last year between 16th and 24th St west on Broadwater. This is full of rough areas and sunken spots.

  20. March 16 2014

    Lockwood Service Expansion

Lockwood residents just passed a mill to put in more walking and bike paths along the main arteries like Becraft, Highway 87 and Old Hardin Road. I'm not sure if this is part of the Lockwood Service Expansion? It should be if it isn't.

  21. March 16 2014

Need bike/pedestrian lanes or sidewalks on North 27th between 6th Ave. North and Airport Roundabout.

  22. March 16 2014

Need bike lanes along 6th Ave. North

  23. March 16 2014

Connect Alkali Bike trail to the trail that goes through the tunnel under Main Street .

  24. March 16 2014

The four way stop on poly and Zimmerman is so dangerous, especially at high traffic times. I have almost been hit there so many times I have lost track. It would be nice to have that be a light or maybe even a roundabout.

Install a Yield sign on 17th Street West where it intersects Yellowstone Ave. 17th St. W. dead ends and traffic from 17th has to turn left or right at this intersection. This will help with pedestrian and vehicular traffic safety especially since there is a lot of both due to St Francis School just to the west. There is a city park just east of this intersection which attracts traffic also. Also, if there is a proposed bike project route on YellowstoneAve., this will help with bicycle safety. 17th St. W. is the first street north of Broadwater and south of Lewis that is open from 14th St W to where it dead ends behind businesses on 24th St. W..
