The way the pedestrian walkway was made blocks the view looking left when turning onto Santa Barbara RD. Unless you drive a big truck, you cannot see the cars coming east on Santa Barbara RD until you cut them off. Another stop sign for this part of the overpass would greatly improve safety for people turning onto Santa Barbara RD.

This on ramp is very dangerous. Traffic getting onto the freeway does not have enough lane to get up to freeway speed.
-
There are a lot of on ramps in SLO City. There should be three lanes of highway through SLO because of the amount of traffic flowing on and off the freeway.
-
Three lanes on the freeway would be good. The commute in the morning gets backed up. The three lanes on the grade do not start early enough.

Build a Prado Rd Bike Lane/Walking Path through from South Higuera St to Broad St. Prado and South Higuera is already the beginning of a Bob Jones Trail entrance. I believe more people would use the Trail and be able to get across this part of town if they had the opportunity to ride/walk without using dangerous Tank Farm Rd or going all the way down to South St and then all the way down South Higuera St. Thank you!

This on ramp is ridiculously short. It doesn't allow time for cars to move over or for the people getting on to gain enough speed before entering the highway.

I have lived on Santa Cruz for almost 15 years. There needs to be a stop sign for people going northbound on El Camino towards Home Depot. There is a small near the end of Santa Cruz Road and it's difficult to see people coming. The speed limit is already 45mph and people drive even faster than that. I've had numerous close calls before with poeple almost hitting me as I leave my street. A stop sign facing southbound El Camino would be helpful as well, but not as important as Northbound El Camino. It's very dangerous!! There is also a buss stop near hear for children and I think this will help slow down traffic.

Add bike lane, pedestrian path. again, very dangerous road. narrow with no lanes. several blind turns. extremely popular among cyclists.
-
Add bike lane, this is a very sharp blind corner. The route is extremely popular among cyclists. It's VERY dangerous road.
-
Car pool lane from AG to SLO would be wonderful!
-
There's no bus service here yet for the Mesa residents at Trilogy and Black Lake. Willow and Via Concho
-
Widen underpass for safety. Sightlines for all drivers are notoriously short and force drivers to make dangerous decisions about turning out into traffic.
-
This is a dangerous intersection as Broad is always very busy, and High Street is used to cross the city by many people as well. A stop light would greatly increase safety for all users on High Street who are trying to cross Broad Street.
-
Many people cross mid-block here to go between County buildings. A crosswalk with flashing lights like other areas downtown would greatly improve pedestrian safety.
-
Refurbish this inter-neighborhood link to make it more attractive for bikes and pedestrians. Some interpretive signage about the lake could also be an asset along this path.
-
Work with property owners to establish a bike/pedestrian path over Perfumo Creek to connect these two neighborhoods. This would allow users to avoid the dangers associated with LOVR and children who attend either school on opposite sides of the creek from their home to safely access these facilities.
-
Realign Cemetery Road to allow a SB 101 onramp directly from 10th Street. San Miguel residents shouldn't have to travel so far just to get on the freeway.
-
The truck lane on SB 101 should not abruptly end here. Instead it should turn into an exit-only/auxiliary lane for Shell Beach Road. This creates huge traffic issues daily and could help many of those currently caught off-guard by the lane terminating where it does currently.
-
Marsh Street should be connected through to the west to meet Los Osos Valley Road. This idea was part of older City of SLO plans, and could still be done with a connection to LOVR just north of the Let it Be nature preserve. This would alleviate the traffic pressure on Madonna Road from Laguna Lake residents whose only viable option from SB 101 is Madonna Road. This would also eliminate through traffic in the Laguna Lakes neighborhood by those trying to reach Los Osos from SB 101. The Marsh Street interchange could then be fully upgraded and conform to current standards for safety, especially for bicycles. The Madonna family would undoubtedly have to be an integral partner in the project.
-
On/off ramps for Highway 1/Santa Rosa Street should be consolidated into a diverging or split diamond configuration directly at the highway/street overcrossing. This would make merging to and from Highway 101 much safer for all. The dangerous Osos, Olive, Lemon, Toro, and Montalban on/off ramps would then be replaced by this safer configuration.
-
The Prado Rd overcrossing, linking Prado and Dalidio, is urgently needed as traffic crossing over Highway 101 Madonna will continue to get worse. This problem will further degrade once the Margarita Specific Plan area and the Dalidio property itself are fully developed. South Street/Hwy 227 and LOVR to Tank Farm cannot continue to be the through routes from the Laguna Lakes area and Broad Street.

Why couldn't this path be built without this ginormous hill?
-
The interface for the pedestrian bridge to this roundabout is awkward for cyclists who avoid going around the roundabout to make a left onto Osos St to connect with the Bicycle Boulevard on Morro. What ends up happening is that bikes take a quick left and avoid going around the roundabout to save time and energy. An alternative would be to extend the last ram to the south so that both riders and pedestrians would be able to hop onto the bridge avoiding the roundabout all together.
-
The bike path is just a sidewalk at this point and is much to narrow for both bikes and pedestrians especially at the bridge over San Luis Obispo Creek but also underneath the freeway and along Marsh. Also, this is an awkward end to the otherwise very nice bike path across the Madonna property.
-
Bike lane dissappears at this intersection leaving bikes to merge with very fast moving traffic and having to cross two right turn lanes in order to go straight or turn left onto LOVR.
