Repave Palm between Pepper and Santa Rosa. The cracks and potholes make for a bumpy bike ride!

  2. January 21 2015

Bike connection through property from W Foothill to Madonna without having to go all the way to Los Osos Valley Road

  3. January 21 2015

Use old 101 as bike route to avoid the new Hwy 101 as much as possible for bike commuters over the grade

  4. January 21 2015

Allow bikes to exit 101 as early as possible onto Mossi Road rather then going all the way up to California

Is there a way to work with vineyard properties to use existing ag roads seasonally to get from Orcutt to Biddle and maybe eventually Tiffany?

  6. January 21 2015

Two way protected bike lane or Class 1 along Price Canyon Road from the Coast to 227

  7. January 21 2015

Two way protected bike lane along Los Osos Valley Road within the existing right of way for commuters by bike from Los Osos to San Luis Obispo

  8. January 21 2015

Expanding the airport is a waste of money! And add bike parking here.

  9. January 21 2015

More bike parking for County employees! (Peak Racks are preferred!)

  10. January 21 2015

Insert scramble cross-walks all across Higuera, like Pasadena and Tokyo!

  11. January 21 2015

I work at the County. Myself and nearly all of my colleagues cross here multiple times per day to go between new and old government centers. A mid-block cross-walk would be excellent.

  12. January 21 2015

Cross-traffic in cars does not always stop at bike blvd. More aggressive measures, such as narrowing bollards or flashing lights, are necessary.

  13. January 21 2015

Southbound at this spot, the bike lane on Higuera crosses a lane of traffic before continuing south on Higuera. Similar conditions in SLO have green paint running from before the "disconnect," through it, and to the bike lane on the other side of the traffic lane that must be crossed. This is safer for drivers and cyclists as it alerts all to the situation. I believe there is a similar traffic lane crossing on Higuera just south of South Street. I'm not sure if Class II bike lane is the right "category" to describe this.

Getting from here to the railroad safety trail is very dangerous. As a cyclist with kids biking alongside, even going around the crosswalks at Orcutt/Laurel is dangerous.

I would like to take the bus, however it costs me more to take the bus than carpool. Also much longer. Almost 2 hours to come from So Higuera to the hospital. & you have to change the bus and wait another 30-40 minutes at the court house. The bus would have to start earlier in order for me to come to work at 7:00am and keep my schedule, which of course it does not.

  16. January 21 2015

We need a carpool lane to benefit carpool commuters!

Is there any way to reduce the speed limit on Johnson to 30 mph or even 25mph? This road is used by many bike commuters going to Sinsheimer Elementary, SLO High School, and downtown. I have seen a number of near misses as cars come over a rise on Johnson and realize that there is a cyclist or pedestrian in their path.

  18. January 21 2015

Please consider a more visible crosswalk at Sydney and Johnson. The current crosswalk is hard to see for the cars on Johnson. I have seen cars almost run over the crossing guard as she attempts to help families cross. Lights would be best (or even a stop sign!), but even diagonal stripes would be better than what we have. When I asked parents why they don't walk/ride to Sinsheimer, they sited the speed of traffic on this stretch of Johnson and the safety concerns of crossing at Sydney.

  19. January 21 2015

Please consider reducing the speed limit on this stretch of Orcutt. It is 55 MPH between two stop signs. Johnson is 35 MPH and Tank Farm is 40 MPH. It does not make sense to speed up to 55 for 1 mile between stops. It makes this a very dangerous road for cyclists, joggers, and residents attempting to turn into their driveways or side streets.

  20. January 21 2015

Turn the stop signs the other way to protect bikers on Bike Blvd.

Please do not spend funds to expand the airport terminal hoping this will increase ridership. This will just add to the cost of flying to/from SBP and has the potential to become a financial albatross. Instead, encourage ridership by reducing the parking fees.

Please, please, please prioritize Class 2 bike lanes on Orcutt Road from Lopez Drive to San Luis Obispo. It is a regional path for not only our residents but our tourism folks who bring a lot of economic benefit to our County. This is a safety, health, alternate mode and economic issue!!!

how about an RT bus that connects CA Valley and McKittrick with Atascadero twice a week. In theory, a person could visit Bakersfield and return a few days later...
CA Valley is not served by any public transportation but the school bus. Maybe the school bus could be replaced by an RT bus?

The bike/walking path between the Pismo outlets and downtown Pismo Beach is extremely dangerous at night (which in the winter starts at 5 pm). While traveling north from the outlets toward downtown at night, cars shine their lights directly in your eyes. It is a blinding light in which the cyclists can NOT see the path. Then there is a 50 foot drop from the narrow trail down to the mobile home park. We need some sort of glare protection to keep the lights from the cars from blinding riders.
