this park needs some help - i think some benches/shade trees/landscaping would go a long way towards making it more inviting. Also, some police enforcement on the lower (eastern) section would be nice

This section of Telegraph between Temescal and downtown is unpleasant to walk down. The street feels wide and the sidewalks isolated.

Almost no street trees on this block, we need some green space to soften the hardscapes

Portions of sidewalk missing along certain properties, Pedestrians are forced to use the street along with cars in order to walk the block. Terrible pedestrian realm

The sidewalks at the Hollis/580 underpass are oftentimes blocked by trash and large materials that are often disposed of here. It seems that people use this space as a dumping site.

No sidewalk on the West side of Hannah. Also there is a massive homeless encampment here that would block the sidewalk IF we had it

The intersection of 59th Los Angeles and Stanford is very difficult to cross whether by car or pedestrians. It desperately needs a crosswalk, preferably one with flashing lights.

Little Frog Park is a GEM that most folks in the neighborhood barely know about. That's because it's difficult to get to. A flashing crosswalk on 51st and Clark would allow folks to access the beautiful stretch of Green space in an enjoyable and safer way. Current pedestrian routes to the park from Temescal involve crossing 51st, looping up Claremont etc. Its is difficult and unnerving to tread this path next to heavy flow traffic driving erratically.

The entire stretch of Genoa is a heavily used pedestrian throughway that needs curb cuts!!

Address issues of blight, garbage, and homeless encampments under the highway. This area is dark and feels unsafe. It is the key space connecting Santa Fe and Temescal and is a huge deterrent to through foot traffic.

Folks come speeding through the residential community of Santa Fe on 52nd, using the street as a through avenue to Market. Also, the Plaza is under-used because surrounded by heavy, high-flow traffic far exceeding the speed limit. It would be wonderful if 52nd was closed to through traffic at West.

There are currently pedestrian crosswalks across the highway exit and entrance ramps on both sides of 52 street. Traffic here is often backed up, with drivers jockeying aggressively and accelerating quickly to enter or exit the ramps. It's dangerous for pedestrians, which is an issue as this is the sole pedestrian corridor connecting the Santa Fe to neighboring Temescal. Lights regulating traffic flow onto and off the ramps, flashing pedestrian lights and timed crossing would help.

There should be a stop sign at this intersection. The traffic using market street regularly drive above the speed limit.

Some cities are doing these bio-swales where we create little rain gardens by expanding sidewalks as bulb outs. Would it be possible to do a pilot project on one of these streets in Oakland?! We could get community clean-up volunteers to participate and generally help with the light maintenance and upkeep of these

Three senior apartment buildings here. Pedestrian lights are too short.

Dead street trees or stumps should be replaced with new appropriate trees that fit this climate and do as little damage to sidewalks as possible
