Need full sidewalks so walkers and bicyclists can safely access the park. At one crosswalk - I think Hazel Street - there is a sidewalk, but there's no crosscut so it's impossible for bikes (or wheelchairs) heading east to get up on the sidewalk!

Pathway needed for bicyclists to access the playground area without having to ride through the parking lot to get to the sidewalk! So terribly unsafe, especially for small children who can't be seen by drivers backing out of parking spots.

Sidewalks needed along north side of Heron. It is do difficult for children to safely access the park when biking from the neighborhood.

A lot of people, including lots of kids, and parents with strollers, walk and bike along 32nd street. The speed limit is 30 mph, and a surprising number of cars get dangerously close to people walking along the street when another car is coming in the opposite direction and they have to pass each other. Many times they don’t even slow down. When walking my dog along 32nd, I always walk against the traffic because it’s too dangerous not to see cars coming up quickly behind me. In addition, it can be dangerous at night. It’s time for this entire street to have sidewalks.

Sunset at Hill Road is a frightening connection. Sunset is heavily traveled at higher speeds than are safe during busy traffic times.

I'm pretty sure the pedestrian/bike crossing signals don't work all the time at State and 23rd. There are many times I wait a long time for the light to change to red light for State, green for 23rd, but don't get a walking signal to cross State. This is particularly bad around 5PM when otherwise crossing State is not possible as a pedestrian.

Northwest Corner of Irene and 24th is a hazard as there here is no sidewalk and evergreen bushes grow out to the side of street three to four feet high. When turning west onto Irene from 24th a driver cannot see a pedestrian walking in the street.

Grate this hill, put up a pedestrian/bike path. Get grant money to pay for this project - it provides a safe route to school - there is no currently a safe route to North Jr. High school for kids living in the East End.

This is a primary route for Boise High students walking from parked cars, walking from home and cyclists- both students and community members. It is poorly lit and extremely busy in the morning hours. Most school days, it is still dark out when this commute is happening. It is astounding that, just a few blocks away, legislators get a special crossing signal to cross State Street from the Capital building, but our students have to navigate an extremely dangerous gauntlet of traffic, bikes, and pedestrians. I'd like to see the same flashing crossing signal with signs that our legislators enjoy during their short walk.

Sidewalks are needed on the north side of Hill Rd from Bogus basin Rd to 36th. They exist/will exist in a few places, they should be continuous. Any school kids on that side wouldn't need to cross Hill Rd and back again to walk to Hillside Jr High.

There needs to be a connecting sidewalk here on Dewey Street on either side leading to Dewey Park/16th/15th Streets/Harrison. You have to walk in the street here.

15th needs a pedestrian crossing signal, Harrison has one but 15th is as busy or soon to be. For that matter, 13th & 28th need them also.

Bike lanes on Fort would be nice. After coming South on 15th, it would be nice to be able to continue in a bike lane to Broadway.

Bogus Basin road narrows and is shaded by trees just before Curling (heading south on Bogus Basin Rd). There's just a small stretch of road without sidewalks that makes this stretch dangerous for children to walk to/from school. Would be great to add sidewalks on at least one side to reduce the dangers this area presents.

This area gets a lot of bicycle and foot traffic from Boise High Students, YMCA members and neighbors accessing downtown and the foothills. Could you add a push button flashing crosswalk/bike signal at either 10th or 11th and Fort. Sometimes the wait to cross Fort is very long and dangerous.

Need a better way to make a left turn from 6th (heading south) onto Fort on a bike to access downtown. This intersection gets busy and the light only changes if there are cars waiting.

Sidewalk needed

Crosswalk needed! Often hard and unpredictable for pedestrians - especially children - to get across 13th.

I am a bike commuter heading south on 10th Street from Thatcher daily. When approaching Fort and Hayes, cars want to treat me like a pedestrian and stop for me to cross, I have to wave them on as most cars are focused on the light at 9th. How to make drivers know to treat me like a vehicle? I will cross when it's safe to do so and do not expect the cars to stop.

The housing developments below our home on 3500 W Scenic Drive have taken away a common path that most neighbors and our family have used for years. Can ACHD help figure out an alternate route for us to get down to Hill Road from the end of the culdesac? I believe the upper part of the path is on our property and we are willing to do what is necessary to let everyone be able to access this great little path.

Make all streets (or all of 15th street) 20 mph and enforce it!
15th Street has become a high speed chase particularly at rush hours. In addition to frequent walkers/bikers, there are two schools on this road and planned expansion of housing to the north.Liked 8 times -
Half of this street has sidewalks, but pedestrians are forced to walk across yards or in the road for a large section.

It's not clear where to ride when the bike lane ends at Fort and 15th going south. Meaning I usually hop on the sidewalk when commuting downtown every day.

There is a crosswalk here but 50% of the time people don't stop even if we have entered the road. I don't know if something flashing would help.

There is no sidewalk on this section and it gets very busy during the spring, summer and fall. You have to walk in the middle of the street. Very dangerous.
