This developer is to connect this neighbor hood into this trail system which will enable easy commuting into downtown Boise

Make the upper end of this trail more bike friendly for families to come up 36th street or come from this neighborhood to access Pole Cat.

It would be great to create a gradual way to Pole Cat from this neighborhood. People could bike from Harrison Hollow into this neighborhood or go up 36th to access Pole Cat

For walking and biking, it would be great if a bike/walking path could connect FarWest Garden Center to EllensFerry (N side of State Street). To access the entire neighborhoods north of Ellens Ferry and State, bikes come off the Greenbelt at Plantation River Drive. They could then cross State Street at Plantantion and have nice ride into neighborhood along EllesFerry Dr.

Is it possible to create green belt access here where it is ITD land? For families, it is much more enjoyable to have 32nd be a N/S travel route than 36th; you can cross easily at 36th Street light, but then it is very stressful traveling on State Street to Veterans Park from 33rd. Seems like a path could be created on the border of the ITD property fairly easily.

32nd is a great N/S biking option for families who do not want to bike on 36th. It is accessible from Hill Road and State Street, and once across State Street (crossing at light where ITD is located - ITD Drive or 33rd Street), one can go through Veterans Park to the green belt. It would be nice to have better access to the green belt or Veterans Park than the sidewalk on State Street from 33rd Street to 36th. There is a tremendous goat head problem near Bikes 2 Boards and near Veterans..

It would be helpful to install a pedestrian crosswalk around Avenue D/Reserve or Avenue E/Reserve to allow adults and children to safely cross Reserve from the neighborhood into the park/baseball diamonds. This is a very busy area full of cars, bikes, and kids. Cars exceed the 25mph speed limit and it can be difficult for children to safely cross Reserve Street.

Making Idaho and Main Streets both two-way would slow traffic, making it much more pedestrian and biker friendly, and enhancing the "downtown/urban" feel of the entire area

Throughout the study area as well as the rest of the county, wherever there is a crosswalk as defined in Idaho law (49-700ff), it should be pained on the roadway and appropriately signed. Pedestrians' right to cross at such locations (IC 49-702) should, along with a focused driver-education program, be rigorously enforced. Drivers must learn that when a pedestrian steps onto the roadway at an intersection the pedestrian has the right of way.

Now that BSU put a contra flow lane on Chavez, a sign to get cyclist to use it instead of the greenbelt for this section, would be nice for pedestrians.

DANGER! The elbow on Jefferson to the west of 19th acts as a pinch point due to cars parked street side. As a cyclist commuter I have to look far ahead and get over to the curb if a car is coming. Many close calls with head on collisions in this narrow and blind corner. Please assess and consider installing No Parking from here to corner sign on the south side of the elbow. That would help reduce this danger zone. Thank you.

32nd needs sidewalks on at least one side of the street for the entire length from State on up toward Hill Rd. Lots of families walk or bike on 32nd to get to and from Sunset park or school.

20th Street is used by hundreds of runners and cyclist every day. A village concept should consider designating some streets (like 20th) "pedestrian and cyclist right-of-way" streets, which should be open to traffic, but traffic must yield to bikes, walkers and runners.

Boise High students, staff and neighbors use Franklin to move east-west from the neighborhood (diving directly into 18th steer) to downtown. There are few markings to protect bike and pedestrian traffic. As a bike commuter, I wish that the crossing on Franklin and 13th were more clearly marked, perhaps similar to the State Street crossing at the Capital building.

A Mtn. Cove-to-4th -&-Union connection could easily be accomplished if the VA would open a bike/ped gateway that would remain open when the 4th-&-Union entrance to the VA parking lot is closed, which is only open weekdays until 6 p.m.

It is now possible to connect via the school dist. property from Mtn Cove to N. Collins Rd, where it turns at officers' row, and on weekdays to cut through the VA parking lot to 4th & Union..

Shaw Mtn Rd: Heavily used by joggers, walkers & cyclists. The 25 mph speed limit should be rigorously enforced. Pedestrians should be encouraged to use the wider, outside "uphill" lane; the inside lane is too narrow, yet people try to use it to face traffic. Signage should announce the special, multimodal nature of the route & rigid enforcement.

Since the city purchased the Hillside to Hollow property for recreational purposes the city should put in public parking at the end of Harrison Hollow.

This road is used frequently by mountain bikers and runners/walkers. It would be in everyone's best interest of signs were posted with the speed limit. Additionally signs reminding dirt bike riders that it is illegal to ride non-street legal bikes from home up to the trails, and enforcement of said signage would be appreciated.

One way grid is not the answer, unless you want to speed up traffic. This is a neighborhood, not a throughway. Irene St. needs more stop signs, plus calming, to slow down commuter and cut-through traffic.

If a southbound cycle lane is created on 9th (and it SHOULD be) then it needs to be on the LEFT side of he road to allow commuting traffic to get INTO town.

Bannock is a very frustrating cycle route into town - too many stops! Why not make Franklin a bike route instead (or as well)? It's already a slow (25 mph) road and goes right by Boise High, where you'd expect a lot of cycle traffic anyway. It would be really nice if it linked up with a bike lane on 9th St too!

Need sidewalk on Gerrard and 30th St. Need traffic bumps or something to slow traffic on Gerrard...cars drive really fast from 32nd to Hill Rd. on Gerrard.
