Pocket Park with Improved Ped/Bike Connectivity
CLOSED STREET CORNERS WITH PLANTERS ARE NOT PRESENTLY PEDESTRIAN OR BIKE FRIENDLY. THOSE ADDITIONAL ENHANCEMENTS ARE BENEFICIAL. ADD THE INTERSECTION OF SW 5TH ST AND SW 5TH AVE TO THE LIST OF CLOSED STREET CROSSINGS TO BE IMPROVED.

Construct Sidewalks
SIDEWALKS ARE A DESIRABLE OVERALL IMPROVEMENT WHEREVER THEY ARE ADDED. ADEQUATE CROSS WALK WARNING SIGNAGE TO THE DRIVERS PASSING SHOULD NOT BE OVERLOOKED.

Formalize/Study Parking
LIMIT PARKING TO ONLY ONE SIDE OF THE STREET WHERE THE HOUSE DRIVEWAYS EXIST ON SW 5TH AVE. THE OTHER SIDE IS OPEN SWALES WITH NO PARKING BUT CLEAR LANE FOR TRAFFIC WOULD REMAIN AVAILABLE. PRESENTLY VEHICLES GET PARKED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET AND LIMIT THRU TRAFFIC.

Mini Roundabout
this intersection is too small for a roundabout. Leave this as it is but paint in stop stripes.

Change Geometry
do not change the situation on 8th street and Coconut. I live at 803 and it is fine - what is being proposed will make the situation worse.

Paint Crosswalks
4th avenue; 7th street traffic light timing to be adjusted to provide a 90 second green for 7th street; 120 seconds for 4th avenue

Paint Crosswalk
This intersection should also include pedestrian crossing signals.

Paint Crosswalks
The light is too long for exiting from 7th Street and as well a right turning lane would be very beneficial.

Raised Intersection
I really like the idea of a raided intersection to slow traffic on the corner of 9th Ave and 9th Street as there are many young children that travel this route and will help slow traffic down

Modify Signal Timing
It would also be helpful to add a right turn lane exiting onto Davie Boulevard from SW 9th Avenue both in the North and South headings.
