The rail terminal really needs a pedistrian connection to town. Accross the rail to Illinois would be great

Gaffney should be two way all the way through. It is low volume road and I see a lot of wrong way traffic

Roland is an exceptionally dangerous road, with a lot of traffic, steep drop-offs on the side and no guardrails. Cars stopping to turn on Pickering back up down an exceedingly steep hill. It is as though the improvements some 20 years ago were never completed, but stopped midway.

Please put a bike path in and connect these neighborhoods with the bike path on cheng pump. This road is dangerous as is!

Roland Road is extremely hazardous to vehicles, bicyclist, and pedestrians. With the increased development in the Chena Hills area, the traffic levels have also increased on this road as it is the main entrance into this area. There are no shoulders or walkways for bicycle and pedestrian traffic to safely use the road with vehicles. There have been two major accidents on this road, one resulting in a fatality. This road needs immediate attention before someone else gets hurt.

There is a real problem with people speeding up and down Steelhead. There's a lot of pedestrian traffic and no sidewalks or shoulders. A couple of speed bumps would be nice.

Between the transfer site and Chena Small Tracts there is a lot of turning traffic here, and yet drivers have often already sped up to 50mph or more (the speed limit is 45). I propose a traffic light here to slow things down.

Roland Road has never been the best road, but with the increase in traffic I no longer feel it's safe to let my kids bike on it. It's narrow (hardly two lanes in some places) and there's no shoulder at all.

this road needs a pull off lane because there is a no passing zone when people slow down to turn off the pump road and you cant pass because of the curve and is a huge danger. also need shoulders for runners, bikers and people walking

We need a bike path or large shoulder. Roland is not safe for the amount of traffic it sees and for the families in these neighborhoods. Don't want to risk my childrens safety just to get to other bike trails! So much new development without any expansion to an over used road in ROLAND!

Roland Rd. is very narrow, with almost non-existent shoulders, leaving only room for two cars to pass each other, but not bikes or pedestrians. If there is a bike or pedestrian on the road, cars must pull into the oncoming traffic lane to get by. There is no escape path if a bicyclist or pedestrian needs to get off the road to avoid being hit. There are deep ditches, and a steep drop off in one place, so if cars go off the road they roll. This road needs added shoulders, guard rails, and if possible a bike or pedestrian path. It is the main exit/ entrance point for a growing number of homes as there is quite a bit of development in the area.

McGrath road should be widened. The bike path does nothing to contribute toward increased safety for automobiles or for cyclists who want to ride on the road. Cycling on the bike path is unsafe for anyone who wants to ride more than about 10mph.

Roland Rd has the highest traffic for a street its size in the borough. The area is rapidly developing and Roland is the bottle neck that empties a very large ever growing community onto Chena Pump Rd. Its an incredibly narrow road that does not meet the boroughs own standards. When two cars pass each take they take up the entire road and there is no should for bikes or walkers to escape to. There are also sections with sheer drops off it is very dangerous. Please PLEASE consider Roland to be put in the upcoming long term plans.

Site Visibility - when exiting Turner Street (south of 17th) onto 17th Street, you have to pull into the intersection to see if there is any vehicles coming from the west of 17th because the fence is blocking visibility on the Southwest corner of 17th & Turner.

Road Damage - Turner Street dips across the entire road. This is not where the current road damage signs and area is located. This is south of that at the Big Dipper Apts.

Multiuse path along has many cracks and root damage. Shoulders of Boats St. and Hoselton Rd. need to be widened and as with all shoulders during Winter need to be cleared of snow berms.

Bradway needs shoulders or a pathway. This is a high speed high volume road and other lesser roads have been getting bike/pedestrian improvements.

D Street needs to be upgraded. The original builder probably should have done it, but now the public is losing because the road is so poor in quality.

This would be a great location for a bus shelter/bench for Red line it would be at Geraldos, and for Blur somewhere around the Overhead Door Company of Fairbanks. It would make sense to pit a bench/shelter at the Blue Route stop just west of Margaret as this is a Fairbikes location as well.

Way too many driveways on South Cushman. The entire road is essentially a curb cut. Don't allow so many driveway on major roads and look at removing duplicates. Aren't there more accidents when there are more driveways?

The big box stores need to put thought into their road network. This offset intersection is an example of what should not be allowed...

Sidewalks on College Road are heavily used by both bicycles and pedestrians. I often see kids riding 3 or 4 abreast on the sidewalk, just a couple of feet from cars moving 45 mph. The stretch of 5th Avenue from Lacey Street to Cushman Street is in major disrepair. The Sidewalks are so broken up so bad, that it’s now a public hazard to walk on the sidewalks . Someone will get hurt eventually. The road is not any better and the drainage is causing all the damage. This needs immediate attention as this is the worst stretch of road on the Fairbanks city limits. In addition, it is one of the busiest roads in down town. You have the School District building on one side of the road, State of Alaska Public defender’s office on another, then the FNSB bus barn far side of the road. This network of sidewalks and road is utilized a lot. Can we address this major problem. Thank you
