Signage needed here to remind motorists entering Parks Hgwy that this is a bike path crossing.

These off-ramps become icy and dangerous during the winter months. Even when traveling below the recommended speeds, I have almost gone off the road. Safer off-ramps or at least guardrails would be appreciated.

Put in turning lanes for Nordale coming from both directions on Badger Road. Also put better signing for Nordale coming from the Fairbanks side. My family often misses or slides by the turn-off coming from the Fairbanks side due to poor signing and no turn lane.

A traffic light at this intersection would be helpful since there is quite a bit of turning traffic from all directions.

Peridot road needs either grating or paving. It has really nasty potholes.

Create a safe place for pedestrian and bike traffic near the highway.

This intersection near the railroad is frequently backed up with vehicle traffic. This poses a potential hazard should a train come.

Provide clearing, grading and drainage improvements to Herreid Road. This road once provided College Hills residents with access to Pearl Creek School and University Heights subdivision; however, lack of maintenance has left the road all but impassable. The road should be improved and placed in a service area.

A pedestrian bypass is needed badly for Chena Pump and this intersection is perhaps a logical site.

College road is very difficult and dangerous to cross on foot. My wife and I walk to the Tanana valley farmers market every weekend and crossing college road makes walking there extremely unpleasant. Maybe a pedestrian island? Or change college road to two lanes so it wouldn't be so difficult to cross? Most of residential areas of college road are on the south side of the road, while plenty of destinations are on the north side (farmers market, beaver sports, Pita place, to name a few that aren't near lights). College road needs to be easier to cross on while walking!

The Aurora Drive bridge over Noyes Slough is dangerous for pedestrians. The sidewalk is narrow with a very tall curb. Sight distances are limited at this spot as well.

Improve the aesthetics of the Airport Way corridor by removing the jersey barriers and chainlink fencing along the frontage roads.

Implement the recommendation of the College Road Corridor Study to convert College Road to a three-lane typical section on the western end.

The SW corner of this intersection is a challenge for bicyclists, winter or summer. The sidewalk is very narrow, so once you cross to here and have to wait for a light, you can't easily redirect the bicycle to your next direction, because the area is so constrained. It is also a very busy pedestrian and bicycle intersection, so if there are either of those in addition to yourself, there just isn't room to safely maneuver without feeling like you are exposed to the busy eastbound traffic that is then turning southbound, as Right on Red while the ped facility is full.

build a path on the north side of Geist Road. There are less conflicts on that side of the road.

The transverse cracking on the bike path on the Johansen is really bad and jarring for a bike. This should have been rehabilitated with the road work.

Please reconsider the plan to turn all of College road into a two-lane road with middle turn lane and wide paved shoulders for bikes. Bikes and pedestrians together on sidewalks make an unsafe mix.

The Yankovich/Miller Hill bike path needs to stay along Yankovich & not be placed within the UAF North Campus Arboretum. Placing the path along Yankovich will optimize bike & pedestrian use while increasing user safety.

Continue bike path along Yankovich from LARS to Ballaine Rd. This area is used by numerous runners and bikers on a daily basis and the existing road has no shoulder creating unsafe conditions for bikers, pedestrians, and drivers.

Lots of permafrost issues on out to Wickersham Dome. Shoulder and main roadway are needing a new foundation in many spots. Bicyclists cannot safely get around potholes without going into the roadway and vehicles cannot safely get through the areas.

Please consider a bike path (not a lane) from the Steese/CHSR intersection running eventually to Chena Hot Springs Resort. Much of this is already in use but riding on CHSR, especially from TWo Rivers to Pleasant VAlley Store and beyond is extremely dangerous for bicyclists. The "shoulder" is barely 12" wide for some distance. Why not consider the option for the off-road trail used extensively by ATV's and Snowmachines if it is in the Borough's right-of-way?

Unsafe for all forms of transportation in multiple areas. Bicyclists cannot even navigate the shoulder and vehicles but use extreme caution. In many locations roadway is unsafe.

Road is really falling apart and is in desperate need of repair. Unsafe to travel by bike as the potholes are getting large. Damage to cars as well.
