would like connection to other trails in Lincoln and Sun City

no transition curbing or marked crossing

Just have some more signage to share the road on SR 49 between Auburn & Cool would be great.
-
This section of 49 is especially dangerous and poorly maintained. I like the canal idea as well.
-
Would love a shared use bike path for bikes, pedestrians and dogs. Paths and single tracks!
-
Given todays traffic, it would be great to have the Class 1 path from the lower Sierra Foothills (Auburn/Colfax area) to the upper Sierra Foothills (Donner/Truckee/Tahoe area). Connecting to the path along the River to Tahoe City would be amazing, if even possible

If you want to incentivize bicycling as a transit option, it needs to feel safe. Paint does not make people feel safe.
These mixing zones at these massive intersections feel incredibly unsafe. Would you expect to see someone riding a bicycle with their children here? Of course not.
Why not convert the sidewalks of main arteries to bikeways? They are already protected, and almost no one walks on them because the distances are too long.

dedicated bike path needed in greenbelt area and connecting stanford ranch area to jonhson springview. connect that to the path that begins on springview near 65, and connect that trial to the longer trail running off of sierra college blvd into down town roseville.
-
Work on either a traffic light or crosswalk lighting for bikes and pedestrians at this intersection in conjunction with an identified bike lane.
This is a major "choke point" currently for bikers and pedestrians who wish to access areas south of I-80, especially Auburn recreation Area without having to derive there. Thanks -
The Nicolaus Road area is a well traveled road by cars & trucks. We have experienced safety issues with drivers not respecting a bicycle's right to be on the same road. At a minimum, there needs to be some signage. We would like to see more than that if fiscally possible.

Need a paved, dedicated trail to connect neighborhoods North of Douglass on Folsom-Auburn Rd to the bike trails at Beals PT. One suggestion would be to PAVE the dirt path that goes from the Levee at Beals Pt to the park at the end of Douglass Blvd... Folsom-Auburn Rd South of Douglass could be the MOST DANGEROUS section of this road... I often ride from Auburn to Beals Pt and dread this ~2-mile section of road.

Please change the programming for the stop light at this intersection to default to green in the east-west direction, or add a bike sensor -- it doesn't automatically change back to east-west when a car triggers a left turn from the westbound direction.
-
Please widen to include a shoulder! My heart races every time I'm on this segment as we put our lives in the hands of motorists who are trying to get to work with the morning sun shining in their eyes.
-
Crossing Hwy 65 is extremely dangerous, especially at Blue Oaks. Any safe path would be appreciated!
-
Mt. Pleasant road tends to be part of a number of bike races throughout the year. It is too narrow to handle groups of bikers and traffic safely.
-
Add shoulder for bike lane for commuters and recreation riders all the way to Roseville City limit
-
There should be a BMX track and/or small and visible mountain bike trail for the youth in our community.
-
Build bike legal single track from Foresthill to Divide
Loop -
Make a Class 1 trail to connect Auburn to Hidden Falls to Grass Valley
-
Can a bridge be built over Fiddyment Rd to connect West Roseville to the rest of the city by bike?
-
A bike path on the south side of Pleasant Grove in West Roseville would be very useful.
-
Wise Rd is a common bike route, but shoulders are generally unusable because they are too narrow or are unpaved.
-
Could not work map page
-
Mt. Vernon Road and Wise Road are great connector roads between Auburn and Lincoln and areas such as Hidden Falls Park. It would take some work to widen these currently bike-unfriendly yet heavily used roads but would be worthwhile. I agree with someone else who said that Class II bike lane would be best and Class III bike solution is useless.
