Comments for “PCTPA Regional Bikeway Plan Update”
-
Kids going to school (Placer HS, Alta Vista, EV Cain, Boys & Girls Club), team riders, and individual riders all cross through this intersection and yet there lacks any kind of existing bikeway.
-
Sections of the road between Wells and Cavitt Stallman does not have any shoulder and road has lots of bike and car traffic.
-
my highest priority is for high quality pavement and BUFFERED bicycle lanes on highway 89 (between Truckee and Alpine Meadows) and highway 267 between Truckee and Kings Beach
-
Actually - I'd go with where the most accidents involving cyclists have happened for the options involving buffered lanes for cyclists.
-
Please place more dedicated bike trails to the main shopping center. The secret ravine bike path should be modified to connect to the mall/fountains area for safe travel to one of the biggest shopping centers in the area.
-
Need bike path over 267
-
The bike path is great but there are so many people using it that it is dangerous if you are riding fast. That is my some bikers use the road.
-
create a bike lane all up and down cook riolo rd, not just for the students heading to school, but for commuters too.
-
not enough space for bicyclist, this is a busy road for semi-trucks, and this section of street isn't street sweeped often enough, has debris, and plus on trash day, the cans take up the bike lane. too many obstacles.
-
both sides of atkinson st for commuters coming into the Corp Yard. There is a steep drop off with not enough space for bicyclist heading southwest on atkinson st.
-
Increase the shoulder and bike lanes wider.
-
Grind down the asphalt near the concrete drain basins so that the level of the asphalt matches the concrete.
-
Add wider shoulders and bike lanes.
-
There are many bicycles on this road. There is no safe place for them to travel and are frequently run off the road.
-
Do what you think is best, I will not be out there with the texters in killing machines.
-
Just around lake tahoe to get tourists and locals out of their cars in summer. connecting existing bike trails.
-
More dirt trail access along folsom lake
-
As others are saying, a Class I connection to Folsom Lake is a great idea, especially since getting out that way with cars on Douglas is sketchy.
-
It would be nice to be able to use this trail again.
-
Terrible crossing this road here and super high speed traffic.
-
All future road construction and current road repair should include consideration for widening and installation of a bike lane
-
A bike lane in this general area would be great!
-
Homeless people and camps through to Miners Ravine. Along trail and Dry Creek.
-
Would like a Bike/Pedestrian paved path from Higgins Corner to North Auburn. There should be room in the Hwy 49 right of way.
-
Severe potholes and lack of bicycle lane.
