This intersection seems difficult for Hwy 30 northbound semi's turning right. They crowd cars in Gable left turn lane to swing clear of guard rail and signal crossing. Always thought this should have been done the way Havelik @ HWY30 in Scappoose is.

People travel too fast northbound along Old Portland. Move 25 mph sign up hill.

Extended pedestrian corners for crosswalks here would be nice. Drivers regularly miss/ignore pedestrians queued to cross here.

Also, the plans to make S1st a tree lined street are nice, but realize the ground here is solid rock, no soil, not gravel- there is no dirt to dig into and plant a tree, you will need jack hammers or better.

For clarification: This is the access road to South 5th that I mention in other comment as needing reduced speed signage.

Road is labeled as Old Portland Road on some electronic maps. Many lost/misguided drivers... it can appear like that's the straight through route on approach from direction of South 8th. Current positioning of the No Outlet sign seems perhaps unclear.

I appreciate this map and commenting- a very nice tool.

There is a utility pole here preventing right hand passing when left turn onto Port Ave is queued, can become a backup at times.

Quite the rise/bump over these train tracks through a curve, would be nice if roadway was more even elevation/height with tracks.

Addendum to comment about path protected by boulders... the example path is actually Matzen Street.

ALSO: 4: The speed limit on South 6h here and up access road to South 5th should be reduced and signed, standard unsigned 25mph on these hilly curvy no-sidewalk streets is too high. Not safe!

    3 issues:

1: Speed of 25mph should be extended from S 4th to S7th. The curves are too sharp and blinded by rock wall for 30mph. At least 3 single car wrecks in recent years, one rollover, 2 others left roadway. Vehicles over yellow line all the time on Old Portland Road curve at S6th.

2: ALSO There is currently no safe pedestrian path on Old Portland Road from S6th to S7th.

3: ALSO The pedestrian path along the base of the rock wall on Old Portland Road should be protected from cars, boulders like along the road behind the Burgerville would be nice.

A left turn lane would be nice to have here again on Columbia blvd. turning onto N6th st. There was one here before the road was overlayed a couple years ago

Thjs traffic signal needs to be updated. Left turn lanes on old portland rd here would be nice so turning traffic doesnt block through traffic when yielding to tbrough traffic. Also there are no cross walk signals which poses a hazard to pedestrians.
