Intersection will continue experience increased pedestrian and bicycle traffic as Old Town grows in popularity and health. People presence is a key ingredient in creating a healthy business environment. Recommend improvements:
    - International blocking design at cross walks.
    - Bike boxes to delineate where bike should be positioned
    - Determine roadway width is sufficient for right turns concurrent with straight lanes. If sub standard, design out the option to perform both side by side, as this is dangerous to both pedestrians and cyclists.

ULV General Plan calls for shutting this down to flow-through vehicle traffic converting this to a pedestrian mall long term. Ensure that residents can bike and walk through this section to connect with old town when implemented.

Speed humps are used throughout this area, slowing traffic, and making the area much safer for pedestrians/bicycles. These treatments should be available for use in other places within the city where vehicle speeds in residential areas is a concern.

Road Diet (as proposed in previous grants and current grant designs) brings Bonita to same dimensions as the balance of Bonita. Also will better control traffic speeds which can be excessive in this area. Will improve overall street usability and desirability for homes along this section.

Recognizing roadway width is tight, and Pomona controls portions, the cities should work together to examine the possibility of Class II. High use route by cyclists (regardless of poor infrastructure) warrants examining options to improve safety.

Sidewalk Class I lanes stop at tracks. Consider removing section as consideration as Class I as it does not meet standards, and does not connect and is considered dangerous as it places cyclists on sidewalks on opposite direction vehicles entering / existing business are expecting them. Section sees very little use and most don't know it exists. If it must be kept it requires significant improvement and connection at the Northbound side.

Improve this intersection with signage showing start of Class I, and green highlighting crossing of Puddingstone so Left turning drivers (who are not expecting bicyclist on sidewalks) are aware they are crossing a bike path. Consider a bike signal.
