If this section of Class I is to remain, the entrance should be more visible and attractive. Consider use of green highlighting and visible signage.

Due to street modifications, a right turn is available prior to reaching the stop sign, however flexible bollards have been installed blocking this. Modify this section to connect allow unimpeded right turns from Wheeler bike lanes onto Puddingstone bike lanes. See examples from other cities.

All Sidewalks end with at Puddingstone Dr. with barriers/signs preventing pedestrians from crossing East/West and no crosswalks to reach Bonelli park and associated trails. Pedestrians (e.g. from Gilead) should have safe access to Bonelli park.

Class II Bike Lanes (both sides) with buffering. Very wide road provides plenty of road width, and would vehicle traffic would benefit from more defined travel lanes. Connects to planned Puddingstone Dr Class II which is a very popular route. Also provides a connection between Gilead and balance of La Verne.

Remove this sidewalk "Class I" from consideration as "In Place Class I". Does not meet design standards and recommendations, does not provide any Northbound connection forcing riders into roadway eventually at a dangerous spot. Southbound riders end at areas which specifically prohibit pedestrians from leaving the sidewalk.

Wheeler crossing of Arrow warrants special attention. Class I riders who want to continue on Wheeler will be on the roadway at this point. People using other options (Wheeler roadway, arriving via 1,2 or 3rd) will also need to cross at this point. Consider green highlighting through these mixing zones, and delineating where bikes should be positioned.

Class II bike lanes with buffering. Huge roadwidth, with no parking and 30 mph speed limits. This section connects the University West Campus with the central University Campus. Expecting usage to grow as result of bikeshare, and car free travel between campuses should be encouraged.

Sidewalk "Class I" stops at rail tracks forcing any Northbound users to cross rail tracks at dangerous angle, with no protection to the appropriate side where there is not infrastructure. This section of "Class I" does not meet Caltrans or NACTO guidelines and should be removed from existing inventory of Class I within La Verne.

Significant attention needs to be paid to this area. Gladstone has extremely wide streets but no clear markings to guide cars, bikes , pedestrians, creating a free for all environment during start / finish times for school.

Currently, pedestrians can move between Kohls and adjoining business but bicycles cannot. Consider options to allow Bicycles to flow through. This allows access to a large number of popular Foothill businesses without the need to use Foothill Blvd. which has a high collision rate.
