  1. November 14 2018

no easy access through Boise High

  2. November 14 2018

narrow area with high traffic and no bike lane

  3. November 14 2018

awkward access from 11th street to pioneer pathway

  4. November 14 2018

No designated bike lane on 11th street is difficult to navigate during high volume traffic times.

  5. November 14 2018

can be hard heading north on 11th street on this corner with car traffic turning right on state street.

  6. November 14 2018

Hard to get through on school days because they block 10th street and you roll through a parking lot and some blind corners currently.

  7. November 14 2018

I hope there is a convenient alternate route around Boise High School for when school is in session. A few extra blocks of bike infrastructure to and on 13th or 9th would be nice.

  8. November 14 2018

It would be nice to have a convenient way to get from 11th and River to the Greenbelt

  9. November 14 2018

Crossing Myrtle and Front Streets on a bike is really stressful!

  10. November 14 2018

This transition onto the sidewalk to access Pioneer Path is difficult. It needs to accommodate making that turn without riding into the landscape, help with avoiding pedestrians, and discouraging bicyclists from cutting across the lanes of traffic to use the random curb cut west of the crosswalk. I see people do this and it is basically playing chicken with the traffic approaching the stoplight. Traffic here can have pretty good speed and commonly are making hard stops at the light.

  11. November 14 2018

The route goes right through the high school? Students are already being hit by bikers to the point that the high school is putting up barriers to you *can't* bike through the courtyard. I would make a lot more sense to re-route here and go over Washington Street to 13th or 15th (which already has bike lanes).

  12. November 14 2018

Only a few cars can turn right onto Front leading to the connector because of the pedestrians and bike traffic. The streets between Front and State and so short that cars get backed up all the way to Idaho Street during 5 o'clock traffic. People are crammed into the short streets and then sometimes get stuck in the intersection because the lights are not synced to allow good flow.

  13. November 14 2018

Not an easy place to cross. Not much room for a bike and cars are not always accomidating

  14. November 14 2018

Fort St. has gotten really busy at times. I suspect a flashing ped crossing may be considered here. For cyclists, this is very awkward and only creates confusion for everyone since we do not have the right of way unless we dismount (right?).

  15. November 14 2018

If I am coming from/going east on the Greenbelt, I often access it through this parking lot at the end of 11th St. since it is more direct than Pioneer pathway.

  16. November 14 2018

When heading north on Pioneer Pathway, I usually get off on Miller to get to 11th St. The transition from Pioneer to 11th at Myrtle is awkward and forces bikes into pedestrian crosswalks.

  17. November 14 2018

The bike lane ends here and the transition is awkward for cyclists heading north.

  18. November 14 2018

Drivers entering/exiting the YMCA parking lot are especially distracted. It would be great if the Y could integrate the bikeway into its facility so that the approach isn't so car-centric, given the number of people who bike there.

  19. November 14 2018

Boise High put a shed here that restricts sight lines and narrows the thruway. The section from Franklin to Washington is a dangerous and awkward combination of pedestrians, cars, and cyclists.

  20. November 14 2018

The mornings here (7:30 - 9) can be pretty congested. Once it gets dark in the mornings I have to avoid this area when riding and be very careful when walking. Often hard to cross while North Jr High is in arrival mode.

  21. November 14 2018

the current BHS campus pass through is narrow and occasionally congested. Would BSD allow this to be widened and would they want to invite more public access to the campus-they have been closing it down more lately for safety reasons.

  22. November 14 2018

The bikes and cars are together for some of the time, instead of designated bike lane the whole distance to the pioneer path.

  23. November 14 2018

Construction and heavy traffic make it hard to get to the Pioneer pathway

  24. November 14 2018

The area around the YMCA and Boise High is congested at certain times. The bike route will need to have approximately saftety measures in this area.

  25. November 14 2018

There are several times when I am crossing Front Street from south to north on the west side of 11th, and a northbound car, turning left onto Front almost hits me or comes to a screeching stop. Given that they are turning onto Front, they are often accelerating at a pretty good clip. I always wait for the walk light at this intersections, but it still seems very dangerous.
