The Sunset Ridge Motorway is precluded from being any part of a public use trail system. It falls within the San Dimas Experimental Forest which is a special portion of the Angeles National Forest. Public use of the Motorway is prohibited because of the special mission of the lands for research.

Problems going straight with right turning vehicles. Also close passing when road narrows going over the railroad tracks.

Lots of conflict with cars turning right from cars traveling east to get into the parking on the north side when bike travels west on Bonita.

The old winding road should be re-purposed for mountain bikes and hikers/walkers. The new connector road between Golden Hills and SD Canyon is too steep for casual walkers, and definitely not good for people with dogs on leashes. The old path could be re-purposed for them.

The City should work with the County to create a viable access point from San Dimas Canyon to Sunset Ridge Mtn. Road. Cyclists can access the mountain road now but only via a very steep and unsafe switchback trail from SD Canyon.

The path here on the sidewalk is not rideable. The trail has disintegrated over the years. There needs to be a marked bike lane for the tons of riders that do loops in this area.

I coach the Damien High School middle school and high school biking team. We had 2 students sustain concussions in this portion of the wash last year. Even when there's little water it is not safe due to all the moss. To make this an actual path the raised concrete platform that exists in part of the wash needs to be extended the entire path from Bonelli to Marshall Canyon. The raised portions are consistently dry and safe to ride, there's just not enough of it.

Create bike/walking route, allowing for walking safe routes to school, collaborate with La Verne Bicycle Coalition & or National Safe Routes to School Chapter. Survey area to determine routes most used. Areas surrounding school route do not have sidewalks or may sidewalks with easements (telephone poles) inhibiting access, specifically for those with mobility issues.

I've never understood why this bridge crossing at 6th street was blocked. I used to ride and walk through here all the time. Seems odd

I'm not seeing clear plans for walking or biking to the new gold line station. Seems like I remember the gold line people having plans/suggestions. Should not these be incorporated into the city's plans?

This intersection is one of the most dangerous in our city for cyclists. There must be a way to make it safer for eastbound cyclists to access eastbound Baseline

The Marshall Canyon Trail is blocked at multiple locations. This blockage requires a person on a bike to get off and lift the bike over. some are unable to do this and a parent pullting a trailer with a child in it cannot do lift over either. these barriers should be removed to allow access to all trail users

Wheeler Ave is an exceptionally wide street here. It puzzles me that the sidewalk is used as a bike lane when the lanes on the street could easily accomodate bike lanes. Or as an alternative, lines similar to the ones now on White ave between 1st and 6th could be employed

Damien Ave accesses four school- Damien HS, Calvary Baptist School, Ramona Middle School, & Allen Ave School. Seems like it would be good to provide mobility for students to ride bike and walk to these school

Please consider striping the right-most eastbound lane along Foothill Blvd for bicycles (Class III) through the City due to limited ROW.

It makes no sense to direct cyclists into/under a wash/flood control. Could the city please consider opening up some of the many adjacent locked, gated public works access roads?
