    Additional trail/wildlife connectivity tunnel/s required at CR 484 S curve when it is expanded to 4 lanes to provide separation of equestrian users from paved trail/cyclists and to further enhance wildlife connectivity where road bisects the mile + wide Greenway corridor.

    Potential connector from Greenway north across Rainbow River near Rio Vista on former barge canal lands connecting to NW and across US 41 to the Duke Energy corridor that state has a perpetual easement for a multi-use trail through Goethe SF all the way to Chiefland and connection to the Nature Coast State Trail is needed here.

    Off grade future recreational trail and wildlife xing needs to be studied and programmed for US 441 to facilitate safe xing of US 441 by trail users and wildlife similar to the I 75 Landbridge.

    I 75 landbridge needs to be enhanced/expanded or an additional structure built to provide adequate recreational and ecological connectivity after increased use over the past 20+ years since it was built as well as the addition of a paved trail section across it. increased utilization and needs for wildlife and people need to be studied to determine future expansion needs.

    USDA Forest Service identified concerns requiring design features and public safety issues that would preclude this segment from interfering with regular and recurrent timber hauling across the trail; fuels reduction burning along the trail; identify and mitigate for user conflicts associated with motorized recreation and hunting activities (General Gun, dog deer season, racoon, fox and bobcat chase seasons); preservation of Wilderness Character; use of native plant materials; invasive species management; avoidance of impacts to heritage sites.

It was not addressed in previous meetings on other project segments concerning NEPA, section 106, and potential impacts to USDA Forest Service operations (timber, fuels reduction burning, other recreation conflicts). We look forward to a full review with our resource specialists.

    Trail Gap needs to be closed. Previous project was abandoned because of environmental conditions near Marshall Swamp Trailhead. However, other alternatives for connection need to be conceptualized and included.
