No sidewalks or bike path along Davis. It's a good road to avoid busy Airport or the Mitchell, but sidewalks and/or a bike path would make it a much safer area.

South Cushman is a nightmare for biking!! Narrow roads with no shoulders, cracked pavement, gravel and potholes, and the sidewalks are even worse. You can't ride the sidewalks without fear of destroying your bike or worse biting it, and you can't ride in the road because the road is too busy and too narrow for traffic to go around you.

UAF- general destination.
-
Please consider adding the Cripple Creek / Isberg / Chena Ridge Area. There is a lot of bike traffic out here (in addition to walk, run, roller ski, etc.) - because these are some of the few non permafrosty roads we have a lot of fast moving traffic that is hazardous to non motorized users
-
Creamers field- Westor East. means riding onsidewalk w/ lots of driveways. Not sure when we will attempt it with our kids
-
It would be nice to have a crosswalk by the farmers market - it is kind of a scary place to cross if you are walking and biking and ended up on the opposite side of the road
-
Tanana Farm Rd. needs biking shoulder or paths in both directions.
-
Can't walk here safely in winter because of Snowmachines.
-
Lovethis loop, shoulders pretty good.
-
I likw walking/biking at UAF
-
It would be awesome to have wider shoulder or a bike path along chena ridge. There is a huge population of people who would love to bike this as a commute but are too afraid for their lives to do so.
-
Love it, no shoulders
-
Downtown- especially when it is busy and full of people
-
Cowles St-River to Library- Needs Bike Path or lanes- ADA sidewalk
-
GENERAL COMPLAINT ABOUT WALKING AND RIDING. . .Why cant they have walking sign signals start 5-10 seconds before the driving lights change formred to green to allow bikes and walkers to get out in to the the intersection so as to be VISIBLE. Most cars pay no attentiion whatssoever to the walking sign!!!!
-
I enjoy biking to first friday events downtown. Better paths downtown would help.
-
University Ave. bridge way too narrow and often during Winter made even more dangerous because of snow piled on sidewalk actually slopes nin to the traffic lanes. Difficult to walk, Impossible to safely bike!!! (1 bike 365 days a year-5,000 miles per year)
-
Old Steese hwy between Carry's Corner and farmers Loop many use this road to bike. It would be nice to have a path along side the road or to go through the woods to get off the road. Then we need better connection to johanssen and town
-
This area of University from College to passed Fred Meyers is a natural commuter area for pedestrians and bikers. There are no shoulder and the sidewalks are not very large. The multiple driveways and roads onto University make this area very dangerous. It seems like a place for a bike lane.

The bike path along the parks to Ester is a nice ride because it is a largely new its in good shape. People often just keep going to Nanana

Farmers Loop is anotherr great ride. You can choose between the path and the wide shoulders. The path could be better maintained and the gravel desperastely needs to be removed.
-
Gold Stream Road is a popular ride, it has a lot of variety hills, flat, etc. The chip seal road corner that comes goes is not fun on a road bike
-
Phillips Field road needs a wide shoulder for bike users. It is a main artery in to the city but poor for riding
