The traffic going north on highway 97 turning west on greensprings has not been addressed by this plan. I think a cloverleaf is needed on the north side of highway 66 to keep that traffic from crossing traffic I am aware that this may impact the motel..I feel that should be done insted of moving highway 140 which is controled by a signal.

Very difficult sometimes to make a left hand turn coming off of 97 onto 140 due to oncoming traffic,
-
Could this residential section be bypassed? It's unsafe to have traffic through here, and the slower speed limit is a nuisance.
-
I would like to see on/off ramps at the 140/66 interchange. It is very hard to turn to the East during heavy traffic.
-
I would like to see this intersection remain open. I live in Green Acres and feel it is safer to drive Orindale to Balsam to get to town. Hwy 140 in this area has lots of deer crossing, so I avoid this way especially at night. I had a deer run into the driver side door while driving home this way once.

Out of town traffic could use better signs to indicate what lane they need for Hwy 140, North 97, and South 97. I see many vehicles need to make last minute lane changes. Quite a few miss their turn and make an illegal turn around at end of Balsam, or a U- turn at or near the Hwy 140 signal. I have even seen 18 wheelers do these moves.

This is the only intersection problem that I notice in my multiple times a day driving through here. If the off ramp traffic could see the East bound traffic better that would make this area a LOT safer. Traffic lights might help semi trucks get onto 140 easier, but just better line of sight would be a great help. Also make left turning traffic stop back further so right turning traffic can see.

How will this affect my property?

I live in the Green Acres area on Primrose Ln and do not see any advantage to the IAMP as I understand it. It appears this is merely a step to expand the city limits of Klamath Falls. Without more information, I am against this project. I also do not believe the county or city can afford this project.
-
I hope that access from the Greensprings Drive to the Southside Bypass is in the plans.
-
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS THERE LOSE OF PROPERTY TO HOME OWNERS? I LIVE VERY CLOSE TO 97 CONCERNED !
-
I am concerned that this is an effort to annex our property into the city, which I am dead set against. Please tell me that I am wrong. .

I would like to see this south bound on ramp allined with highway 140 to the west making a 4 way lighted intersection and replaced with a south bound exit ramp from 97 to east bound 140 merge lane. The existing south bound exit could be turned into a merge lane to the west. The existing 97 north bound ramp left open but also add a new north bound ramp to the north that woud be a right turn only from west bound 140. the main problem at this time is speed on 140 at the interchage, when cars are traveling 60 & 70 mph in a 45 it leaves no time for cars to get out. Aline the north 97 exit with greensprings adding a light for the 97 north bound exit to 140 and Greensprings would slow down the high rates of speed.

The entry curve onto Hwy 97 N from Hwy 66/140 is tight, steep and very slippery when snowy or icy.
-
Visibility to the east at the bottom of the exit from 97 to Hwy 66 is terrible, especially when one is trying to turn right and other traffic is turning left. Can't see past the vehicles and the bridge without nearly pulling out in traffic.
