I witnessed a car driving north on the trolley trail one evening, all the way to the big rocks blocking entry/exit at the intersection with Rupert Dr., then back up, to leave via the handicapped ramp... Obviously, the Trolley Trail looks so much like a road that some people are getting confused.
-
Despite the flismsy sign placed AFTER a car going west on Creighton drove straight into the ditch, this area remains dangerous. A more sturdy barrier is needed (like the redundant one further down south on the west side of the trail, where is serves no apparent purpose...)
-
Need a signal at Pimlico and 43. Very dangerous intersection during rush hour.
-
The 3-Creeks Natural Area is one of the few remaining green spaces left in the area... Where else nearby can one experience oak trees that are hundreds of years old? Please, remove the Sunnybrook extension from all transportation plans. Another road is not where I want my tax dollars spent.
-
Locations for bike/ped alternative to Boone Bridge (French Prarie Bridge?) have not been adequately explored. Metro owns property connecting Graham Oaks/Tonquin Trail down to Willamette River. How about a river crossing west of Wilsonville city limits that then easily connects the Tonquin Trail to the northern terminus of the Oregon bikeway at Champoeg Park?
-
Stafford Road is one of the few options for a regional connection for bicyclists, yet lacks an adequate shoulder. Bicyclists taking the motor vehicle lane present a hazard to themselves and create a backup of motor vehicle traffic (inadequate sight-distance for passing, etc.)
-
Boeckman "dip" has narrow motor vehicle lane with no shoulder, no sidewalk, steep grade. This regional connetor is very hazardous for both bikes and peds. Requires mitigation for *both* directions.
-
Please be sure that the PMLR is completed. Even thought we may not need it today certainly by its estimated completion date it will be needed . Remember, it cannot be built overnight.
-
The Sunnybrook Road extension south of the Aquatic Center is a bad idea. It is a road to no where and will just increase traffic congestion in the area. It should be permanently removed from the Clackamas Co. Transportation Plan as well as the regional plan. Save the Oregon White Oak woodland
-
This stretch of 17th needs safer access for peds and bicyclists to connect from Milwaukie to Sellwood -and connect Trolley Trail to Springwater Trail.
-
The Sunnybrook extension should be removed from the TSP, and Metro should remove it from the RTP. This is a waste of money and would actually be detrimental to the people who live in this area. We need to preserve all of the natural space we can.
-
At Stafford Rd. & Homesteader Rd. extreme need for street lighting at intersection. At night you cannot see where Homesteader is if you are heading south from Stafford!!! This is a simple solution, county needs to install a street light with auto daylight switch.
-
Great improvement at Stafford Rd. and Mountain Rd.; well done!
-
I just left a comment about Canby Ferry. Feds need to repair lock at falls so ferry can be maintained Corps of Engineers have cut budget and it is not fair to isolate public unilateral decision. Either fix the lock or build a bridge; which is more economical?
-
Canby Ferry is especially important to the people in the Hebb Park area/ Peach Cove area. It is not fair to have the Engineering Corps not budget to repair the locks.unless they replace it with a bridge. What is more economical; bridge/lock? Who's responsible?
-
Please take the Sunnybrook blvd extension off of the TSP, this is misguided and the concept should be permanently removed. 3-Creeks is a truly unusual urban greenspace and needs to not be nickel-and dimed out of existence. Stop cutting pieces out of it, it has shrunk enough.
-
A new road extension or upgrade impacting the Three Creeks natural area would be a mistake. Please remove it from any possibility of returning on future/long term plans. It is not needed or wanted by the people who live in this area. It is more important to protect this beautiful natural for generations to come area! My kid needs a place to see trees and experience nature, not another road!
-
The Sunnybrook will be a detriment to our local education organization. 3-creeks as a natural area serves our students and the the nearly 2000 families we work with. These are a dedicated fan base of families who are more than willing also give their input into this cause if need. Please remove this project.
-
Remove the Sunnybrook Extension from the TSP. It's a boondoggle.
-
Very confusing intersection, so many roads coming so closely together. Could this be turned into one big traffic circle which would include the s.bound off ramp, Boonsferry, commererce and 95th?
-
I agree with a traffic circle here. We use this confusing intersection a lot.
-
The Sunnybrook extension needs to be removed from the County's transportation plan and the Regional Transportation Plan. Removing the road project from these plans is essential to protecting the 3-Creeks Natural Area as a crown jewel of North Clackamas County's natural area system.
-
Create a strategy for ensuring adequate functioning of the Harmony/82nd/Sunnyside intersection to avoid the need to ever consider extending Sunnybrook Blvd. through 3-Creeks. This may include adjusting the parking capacity of the adjacent Toys-R-Us and Harmony Campus to maximize the efficient use of existing traffic/parking capacities.
-
Please ensure that these freeway exits and local surface streets are designed and controlled to avoid directing additional traffic capacity west on Sunnybrook Blvd. towards the 3-Creeks Natural Area. Local and regional traffic planning should ensure protection of key natural resource areas like 3-Creeks. It is critical that planning efforts avoid creating demand for roads through essential to the communities natural amenities.
-
remove the sunnyside extension PERMANENTLY from all transportation plans. the three creeks ancient oak forest should not be compromised by a road project that is based on outdated city planning concepts. the people have stated clearly over and over again, in words and deeds: rare oak forest is more important than the asphalt desert / shopping center this road project is meant to support. replace the sunnybrook extension with plans to expand the white oak forest, and volunteers will appear to make it happen. you will become famous. BOOM.
