Traffic volumes make it unsafe to make left turns from approaches. Need to add accelerations lanes and public roads.

One pedestrian death, and at least two rear-enders could have been prevented without the pedestrian crossings on the Parkway. It just does not make common sense to have these two pedestrian crossings.
If the intention of the Parkway is to be a Bypass, it does not work because of grade level pedestrian crossings and multiple stop light intersections. Pedestrian overpasses and just on and off ramps would do the trick.
A bypass around Madras back up to Hwy 97/Hwy 20 junction with exit is critcal to bypass the 20mph thru downtown Madras with optional exits much like to get past Bend, OR.
It is imperative to make the stretch from Juniper Butte to Madras 2 lanes since one often gets tied up behind farming vehicles and freight trucks.
A bypass around Terrebonne would be ideal since you slow to 20mph- that would be the first step to increase time from Lapine to Madras.
A bypass from southern Redmond to the North part of Redmond above HWY 126 would eliminate all the traffic slowdowns and lights you have to go thru to get past Redmond.
