The City of San Mateo is preparing a Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP). The LRSP will identify and analyze traffic safety problems and recommend strategic and proven solutions to address them.

Your input is a critical part of the LRSP. Use the interactive map to the right to provide us with safety concerns related to walking, biking, driving, and taking transit in San Mateo.

The red dashed lines and dots represent the City’s draft priority roadway segments and intersections, respectively. These are established based on crash severity and the number of crashes. Please check the draft collision analysis memorandum under the documents section for more information.
