Fayetteville Pedestrian Plan Public Input Map

The City of Fayetteville and NCDOT Integrated Mobility Division are preparing an update to the Fayetteville Comprehensive Pedestrian Plan. The plan will identify and prioritize a series of sidewalk, trail, and crosswalk improvements to address pedestrian safety and connectivity throughout the city.

This map displays areas where sidewalk, trail, and crosswalk project needs have been identified through the early stages of the plan development. "Existing" projects refer to those from recently completed plans, including the previous Fayetteville Pedestrian Plan, while "Proposed" projects are new to the current plan.

These areas were identified based on reported crashes involving a pedestrian, gaps in the existing sidewalk network, and areas with high traffic speeds and volume. We would like your input on which of these areas should be prioritized for recommendations within the plan.
