Safety should be a top priority for any work done on lanes that run under the T tracks. The importance of utilizing strategic design to ensure protection for bikers and pedestrians can not be understated in these areas.

Adding bike lanes here and around the city are wonderful. I am hoping that from a design perspective, the city and planners/designers will consider models seen around Boston/Cambridge where the bike lanes are protected - whether by reflective dividers or even having bike lanes that run right up to the curbs (so the sequence from left to right would be car lane - parking - bike lane - sidewalk). Safety needs to be a priority for these lanes especially for kids.

This entire intersection is difficult to navigate whether on foot, bike, or in a car. It seems unintentionally designed as there are just too many access points and directions happening at the same time. It is a major traffic intersection as it is a central hub to 107/Western Ave, multiple neighborhoods, and paths to important destinations .

Market St is too congested and not marked well for cars never mind bikes.

This street is less busy and more bike friendly than Neptune.

All of the path/former railroad, from Western Avenue to Hamilton Street, needs to be cleared of brush and thoroughly paved.

There needs to be a bike lane along the whole length of Route 1A from the circle at Nahant Road until Point of Pines in Revere.

There should be a bike lane on 1A beginning at Point of Pines/Revere Beach all the way to Nahant.

Keep bike/walking away from street... Stay with the MBTA tracks. Roads should be secondary.

A bike lane should be connecting downtown lynn to the waterfront. As soon as you cross into Swampscott there is a bike lane, but nothing in lynn.

There is a giant Bike cage at Wonderland station, but no bike lane on 1A. It is super dangerous to bike there at the moment.

Bikes and cars entering the rotary simultaneously face a green light and yield sign. Should they go or should they yield?

Surface parking along downtown streets creates a void in an otherwise vibrant city. Encourage development with something active along the streets to make it a place worth walking and biking to, not just driving through.

Too much pavement! Narrow this vast intersection. Create a bigger pedestrian space at this iconic intersection.

Show downtown Lynn some love with enhanced bike and pedestrian amenities.

This location is dangerous to cross. On either side, the cross walk button is active for roughly 6 or 7 seconds, The green arrow allowing cars to take a right is active the same time the white crosswalk sign becomes active. There is not enough time to cross on either direction and the vehicles taking a right often do not acknowledge the walk sign. ..

Why isn't this a rotary, and why isn't Essex st a two-way street here? There is plenty of room, and it makes no sense for traffic flow -- creates unnecessary congestion.

Let's connect our beaches to the bike path! It's crazy that we haven't done this yet.
