Would be nice to have a crosswalk and caution light. When walking around the reservoir you need to cross Esperanza twice to use the sidewalk on the west side.
Can we focus on two routes that take a pedesterian from north to south La Verne? Perhaps Wheeler and D Street.
There are not safe sidewalks from Foxglen area under the freeway.
The NE corner sidewalk has no curb ramp. There is no safe place to cross with a stroller or for a wheelchair.
Peyton Road is a speedway in the morning and afternoon . I would not consider it a safe place to walk or bike .
I would encourage a speed bump at the very least .
The old winding connector road between Golden Hills and San Dimas Canyon should be re-purposed and opened to walkers/hikers. The new connector road is too steep for the casual walker, and dangerous for people with strollers or dogs.
The City should continue to work on a management plan for the protected open space that creates a new hiking trail leading from the City's property behind Monterey connecting with Sunset Ridge Mtn Road, or other new trail.
Need to make sure a bike will trigger the traffic light to change or have a way to have a turn box for bikes turning left on to Bonita.
Difficult to see due to color overlays on map. High, increasing pedestrian usage. Many pedestriants crossing street mid street to access resturants / parking as downtown becomes more active. Consider reducing this speedlimit to 25mph for pedestrian safety.
Residence East of Wheeler are unable to cross this street to access the park.
Sidewalk currently being planned
A proper x-walk to connect to the LV Gold Line Station. The next closest is White Ave/Bonita Ave or White Ave/Arrow Hwy
Dangerous, "Blind" corner at Trail crossing with overgrown vegetation
Unsure what "other" indicates. Current, there is no crosswalks available at this intersection.
What "Trail Related" improvement is proposed here? The trail crosses under this road traveling in the wash.
This gate/barriers need to be removed or improved. Prevents families with strollers, wagons, etc. from accessing the park
