Bike lanes throughout Wallace would be appreciated. It is dangerous to ride on the roads as they are now.

Sidewalks all along Norwood Street/Hwy 117 would be helpful.
Also, bike lanes running both north and south on Hwy 117. It is very dangerous to ride on that road, which makes it hard to get to downtown for anything by bike.

A bike lane option should be a sidewalk/bikeway combination. The sidewalk should be wide enough so they can be shared by bike enthusiasts and pedestrians at the same time. They should be clearly marked with yellow dash markings in the center with people/dog walkers on the right and cyclist on the left. To make clear to the public which side to be on it will have either a walking person image or a cycle image on the concrete to easily be understood regardless of native langauge

It would be great to see more sidewalks in this neighborhood to promote more walkability and connect with other parts of town.

Sidewalks need to put on the side streets connecting Main Street and the area on HWY 41 that has sidewalks for the apartments...

Need to get rid of Wallace NC Weekly. It’s garbage for the town.

Sidewalks are needed here to connect apartment complex and other residential properties to the Walmart shopping center and other retail spaces so folks can walk to stores.

Stockyard is a busy place on Thursdays and weekends. Sidewalks would be good to have. Sidewalks should be all the way down on either side of Norwood street. Currently they stop up near Wallace Crossing shopping center.

With elementary school, good opportunity to connect to other areas of town with a sidewalk so to Plantation acres to the North and new neighborhoods being planned to the south right next door to school

New developments should design the sidewalk/bikeways in their plans that face the public street and connect to the the towns already existing system helping to reduce future cost to the city as it grows.

Improvements would be good to sidewalks and crosswalks in the downtown area. Heavy Truck traffic along Main Street creates safety issues - better marked crosswalks would help

We have sidewalks downtown- unfortunately the only secure sidewalks are on Main Street- The sidewalks on NE/NW/SE/SW Railroad Street N/S College and Boney Street all need repair to be safe and usable. There needs to be a way to make the usable by people who cannot climb steps off the roadway or into businesses.

Substantial amount of foo traffic is on Old Teachey Road and many walk in the road way as there is not much shoulder. For safety, it would be good to have a sidewalk here for pedestrians. This could connect to other sidewalks and to the rear side of Farrior Park and Dobbins Park

Needs to be sidewalk connecting to Tin City area all the way to the downtown area. Sidewalk exist down Main Street. Just need to be able to connect existing sidewalks to Tin City. Sidewalk here would also connect new Town Park - Farrior Park

Southerland Street needs to be considered in sidewalk plans. It is a dangerous street with more foot/bike traffic than you would think sometimes. There is no way for residents to walk to anywhere safely .

I completely agree with this comment. We need sidewalks connecting Southerland Street along Hwy 41 and into the new Walmart.

A cyclist/pedestrian trail that follows from Boney Park via Murray St to Raleigh St through downtown to W. Hall St. to SE Railroad St back up to Boney or Cliff St. to College St. to Murray St. getting cyclist back to Boney Park.

This is a busy intersection that needs crosswalk lights/signals. Install crosswalk infrastructure, it will help connect downtown/main street with nearby neighborhoods, allowing for easier access on foot.

Important to connect downtown with the Park and shopping areas of Tin City with sidewalks. Extend to Wal Mart as phase 2. Bikes need less traffic facilities for pleasure like N & S W Railroad St.
