what is the long term plan to connect to the Keystone Palatka Trail? Ought to be in this plan, right? And it would be great to connect to Hawthorne -- make a loop?
-
This stretch of the bike path is full of roots and very bumpy, and since it is HEAVILY used, it can be hard for everyone to navigate. It would be good to put a regular resurfacing in the master plan and work with the state park system to maintain a bikeable trail for all.
-
The Revise Boulware group wants to eliminate this entrance to the park, but I think it is the BEST way for cyclists on the Kincaid Loop to access the Hawthorne Trail. Please keep this entrance viable. It is flatter than the other entrance and people won't disrupt whoever is getting married in the building.

234 is rather narrow and VERY bumpy. Repaving, widening, or making a bike path on the easement would be great.

The west edge of the bike crossing of S Main Street is a bumpy crossing. I know you need a gutter, but this is a deeper bump than it might need to be. A little fill would smooth the ride considerably!
-
As cyclists leave UF at 5:00 pm going east, they must fight the cars and buses for a very narrow SW 8th Ave. Bikes get pushed to the gutter by the buses, eager to stay on time. The 10 sec delay in the green light helps a little, but it is not long enough for the bikes to clear the narrow spot in the roadway. I understand the 10 sec delay is to put the pedestrians in sight for the right turning drivers, but they have their own lane without ped, so it is irrelevant for this side of the intersection. Probably works on the other side though. I suggest a red/green bike light!

The GNV Connector crossing on Williston Road is much better than it was, but is still a challenge. A bridge for pedestrians and cyclists would be a far better, long term solution. I'm sure the 16 wheelers would appreciate it too! Until then, maybe a reduction in the speed limit?

We need a side walk extension on Millhopper Road. This road is lined with neighborhoods filled with individuals and families who cannot safely leave their neighborhood without a vehicle. A side walk would enable many many people to bike and walk along this beautiful road.

A bike path along 23rd would be very helpful and this proposed one could have a terminus at the existing multi-use trail on 24 and hook into future infrastructure on 13th street. In addition to a bike path, the sidewalks and pedestrian experience along 23rd are not ideal.
-
As others have noted, there is no sidewalk here.
It would be good to have an upvote or duplicate comment so that there's no need to duplicate the information for the same comment.

12th street is a "bike boulevard," but there is no easy way to cross 8th Ave here given that it is busy, traffic moves very fast, and the visibility is not good. I would recommend putting in a beacon-lighted crosswalk.
-
Fort Clarke Blvd: dangerous crosswalk. Cars do not stop, they speed, and there's a bus stop right along the street.
Also, this street frequently has children walking and biking, so it's very dangerous for them. -
