This is the closest bus stop to my home in Fort Clark Forest. I would gladly walk or ride my bike to catch a bus here but then it would take me 1-2 hours of bus riding to get to work at UF. Lots of environment-minded people on west side of town would take a bus if it were feasible. This is not.

The 2-lane bridge with reduction from 4 lanes just prior makes this intersection so dangerous for cars let alone pedestrians and bicyclists. So many accidents. A young man died a few years ago. Something has to change here. It is a nightmare during rush hour.

Crazy overburdened - please stop approving massive apartment complexes and new homes with no added infrastructure! How about some park and rides?

A bus going out to High Springs would help connect the community more

The lack of pedestrian/cyclist crossings down this stretch of 43rd leads to many people walking or cycling across the road when it is unsafe. 2 pedestrian-triggered crosswalks like the one present on 16th would help alleviate this problem without being too costly
-
Phoenix neighborhood NEEDS more sidewalks, updated concrete and streets (horrible potholes constantly popping up), better lighting at night, and to update the park off of 33rd place for the kids!
-
I cross this intersection about twice daily, and it's unusual *not* to see multiple cars/day run a stale yellow or red light on 8th Ave.
-
For busy intersections like this that have a lot of cyclist and pedestrian traffic, a leading light for non-motorists to get ahead of the traffic would be beneficial. These are used in other cities to avoid collisions and conflicts between motorists and cyclists and are very effective, cheap, and don't require a large physical change to the existing infrastructure.
-
This intersection is very dangerous because motorists don't know where they are supposed to be - they crowd into the median opening. Check the crash reports here - motorcyclists have been hit here too. It needs a traffic signal.

This is a dangerous intersection because car drivers have the light for southbound lefts at the same time peds have the light to cross north. The flow is heavy and they do not yield. The light changes before peds can go. This is near the high school and Boys Girls Club

Motorists use this neighborhood as a cut through during rush hour. This would be fine, except most of them speed through the neighborhood and there are no sidewalks, which puts pedestrians and cyclists in danger. The speed bumps are not effective at slowing down the motorists; more effective traffic calming measures would be useful here, like planters or more aggressive speed tables.
-
Truckers are routinely parking big rigs here. It is not zoned for that.
-
No pedestrian-safe or bike-safe way to get from 23rd up 13th to get to Publix and bus routes are difficult to use to get to Publix if you don’t live along that bus route.
-
Need better lighting at these two bus stops. The enclosed bus stop areas also feel hidden and not safe in the dark.
-
Very popular bike route.

Entrance of dirt street leave a dangerous debris for bikers
