Traffic calming needed on O'Donnell St. between Canton square and S. Conkling, and on S. Conkling St thought Highlandtown and Canton. Speeds are excessive for the frequent pedestrian traffic and for biking in these neighborhoods - speed on these streets is a frequent complaint.

  2. October 04 2011

There are a number of large potholes on Thames St. where the blocks are actually rolling around loose. These need to be fixed before the blocks get lost. The Belgian blocks would be a lot more tolerable if the seams between them were filled with concrete almost to the level. The blocks need to be re-set in many areas anyway.

  3. October 04 2011

A lot of bricks have been removed from this brick section of Eastern Ave. by columbus park by utility workers but not put back in. New / Vintage bricks need replaced. This is a high-traffic footpath between Harbor East and Inner Harbor pedestrian areas.

  4. October 04 2011

Need WAY MORE BIKE RACKS at the Sunday JFX farmers market. We need parking for 10-15 bikes at this spot at least, spaced out because people are hauling all kinds of cargo and kids. Consider bulb-outs and other traffic calming measures at surrounding intersections.

  5. October 04 2011

I see a lot of people ride to this big playground in the middle of patterson park with their kids in child bike seats. There is no bike parking at the playground. Consider adding a couple bike racks at the playground near the inside of the gates.

  6. October 04 2011

Paths at the South West Corner of Patterson Park are in very poor shape. Cyclists ride down the hill at speed where tree roots and cracks have destroyed the concrete. Consider re-building this entrance similar to the North-West corner as it is highly visible to Canton and Fells Point and Eastern Ave. traffic.

  7. October 04 2011

This wide sidewalk area by the basket ball courts and pool in patterson park is in very poor shape and needs to be re-paved in some or all areas.

  8. October 04 2011

Leverton Ave. between S. Conkling st. and Eaton St., and S. Eaton between Leverton Ave and E. Baltimore Street. are is in extremely poor shape. There is an elevated concrete section on the north side of Leverton here that the community association wants to turn into a community garden. the street is almost completely deteriorated. Residents want this area completely re-built as a garden park with nice sidewalks and access street, etc.

  9. October 04 2011

    S. Dean Street in Highlandtown, north of Eastern Ave. is in really poor condition but a lot of people use it to bike or walk because it's too narrow for driving. However there are a lot of falling / tripping hazards due to the poor state of the street.

  10. October 04 2011

Paths are wrecked by tree roots and need to be re-paved. Kids trip on them all the time at the playground.

  11. October 04 2011

Intersection of paths collects sediment that is a hazard to the cyclists who tend to come down that hill a bit too fast at a poor angle. There are stairs that nobody uses which you don't see until the last second, it's a hazard. It would be better if this was a big circle or had better visibility with a clear intersection.

  12. October 04 2011

There needs to be obvious signs that you should only bike on the elevated sidewalk path on the North side of Eastern Ave when you go though the railroad underpass between Canton and Greektown, because the South Sidewalk is too narrow to pass pedestians without running into them. The sings need to be on both sides of the underpass.

  13. October 04 2011

No bike parking at Highlandtown Markets Grocery Store. They need to put one in a corner of the parking lot near the door so that bikes don't have to block the entrances to the grocery store.

  14. October 04 2011

Loose rocky path between Canton Safeway and Can Company shopping area is a poorly constructed afterthought that is difficult to navigate. No sidewalk ramps and too narrow with no crosswalks.

  15. October 04 2011

Large bumps and dips due to warped patches along Dillon Street., in particular a few blocks east and west of S. Potomac St. - used by many bikes going to Canton Safeway shopping area or Boston St.

  16. October 04 2011

Sidewalk is missing completely, and parked vehicles always parked on sidewalk area - the east side of S. Central Ave., between Eastern Ave. and Fleet Street. High pedestrian Traffic since there are condos everywhere and this is Harbor East.

  17. October 04 2011

Sidewalk is blocked entirely by overgrowth and debris. Sidewalks on Haven St. frequently are missing ramps at driveways.

  18. October 04 2011

Sidewalks along Pulaski Hwy., east of Haven St. going to Armistead gardens are in terrible condition - mostly covered with sediment and overgrown grass, or missing entirely in many sections. There are many people I noticed trying to bike or walk from Armisead Gardens or even Rosedale, but the road is nearly impassible except by car due to the state of the sidewalks.

  19. October 04 2011

    E. Baltimore St. is in poor shape when you get off Haven St. making it difficult for biking. Consider resurfacing and more visible bike markings due to truck traffic and falling hazards.

  20. October 04 2011

    E. Bank Street is too narrow for two-way traffic between S. Clinton St. and S. Highland Ave. resulting in perpetual traffic conflicts between bikes, peds, and cars at the intersection. Due to location of Post office there is a lot of Ped. activity. Consider making street one-way or removing parking, at least on this one block of Bank St.

  21. October 04 2011

There are no sharrows on Bank Street. Grass gets destroyed by bikes and scooters at Bank St. and S. Ellwood every rain and winter, since curb cut is not visible from street and there is no paved path convenient from Bank st.

  22. October 04 2011

Crosswalk ramps missing at this alley next to Creative Alliance. Makes navigating by bike difficult, but is used frequently due to speed of traffic on Eastern Ave. and people visiting park and creative alliance.

  23. October 04 2011

Crosswalks don't align at this alley, makes navigating by bike difficult. Many people use sidewalk to bike here due to high traffic on Eastern Ave., when headed to park.

  24. October 04 2011

Residents on 400 Block of S. Robinson Street continue to unanimously request that bricks be used to re-patch all the sections dug up by utility companies where some bricks were removed and replaced w/ patches. Maintain street in all-brick.

  25. October 04 2011

Huge numbers of children crossing E. Baltimore St. at N. Lakewood Ave. needs traffic calming and bulb outs. Sidewalk on N. edge of Patterson Park is in very poor shape with many slabs lifted several feet and poor patching jobs creating tripping and falling hazards for bikes and peds. Entrance to Patterson Park next charter school needs to be re-designed and improved.
