increase the trails in this tract of land, and link them to Blues Creek trails
The cyclist lanes on this road are directly adjacent to high speed roads. The danger present here is high and disincentives cyclists. Commuting to any businesses or healthcare facilities on this road is completely unsafe for cyclists due to the high speed traffic. Either a protected bike lane in either direction or a completely separated trail would be necessary along a road with such high speed traffic.
There used to be a bus stop here, there's already a sidewalk extension which would make it easy to load bikes onto the bus if it ever came back.
There are no bike lanes on this stretch of 34th St, making it difficult for neighbors north of here to get safe access to the park, or for middle schoolers to bike to their classes without running into pedestrians or being in danger of vehicular traffic. There's also no cross-walk at the entrance of the park where vehicles enter and exit, making it unsafe as people cross the street all the time.
always lots of debris in bike lane. would be good to clean ALL bike lanes at least couple of times a year
the rumble strips in the bike lane a terrible, especially when approaching the bridge..
Need to put sharrows in outside traffic lane, as well as signs stating cyclists can use full lane.
bike lane is horrible. overgrown, and rumble strips.. The rumble strips are a bad idea. They force a cyclist to quickly move over nearly 2 feet when there is an obsticle in bike lane.
