This crossroads by the Washoe House tavern has been a major thoroughfare since the county's inception. Seems a good candidate to have an L2 charger.

  6. November 14 2025

Bridgehaven is a logical place as it catches the Hwy 1 through traffic but is also very near Goat Rock - one of the most popular beaches in the county. I'd propose Goat Rock Road but it's all state-owned so likely not a good candidate for the county EV plan. The state installed an L2 charger at Fort Ross; it's unfortunate there are none on Sonoma Coast State Beach.

  7. November 14 2025

Gualala River Regional Park is a logical place for an L2 charger so that vehicles can make it as far north as Mendocino/Fort Bragg.

  8. November 14 2025

Valley Ford is a small town but is heavily trafficked with vehicles on Hwy 1 and heading inland towards Occidental/Sebastopol.

  9. November 14 2025

Bodega Bay needs an L2 charger

  10. November 14 2025

The state park offices are a popular hub that catches both coastal traffic and folks coming down from Cazadero. The Blue Heron / Gold Coast Coffee are popular meeting spots and L2 chargers would be well-utilized here.

  11. November 14 2025

Monte Rio's public beach is a busy hub - especially in summertime - and the playground by the recreation & park district's community center would be a good place for an L2 charger.

  12. November 14 2025

Occidental Community Center of Occidental Center for the Arts (former Harmony school campus) would be excellent places for L2 chargers.

Occidental is the geographic hub of the lower West County and currently the closest chargers are either in Sebastopol or Northwood, west of Monte Rio.

  13. November 12 2025

    Calistoga Road and Sonoma Highway

Chargers in the Safeway parking lot would be beneficial and make sense.

  14. November 12 2025

    Fort Ross Store

EV chargers on Hwy 1 are a good idea. However there is one at Fort Ross State Park - though technically you are supposed to pay admission to the site.

There are other gaps in the West County including Occidental, Cazadero, Monte Rio and Freestone.

  15. November 12 2025

Super charging at sea ranch for coastal ev travelers is sorely need

  16. November 12 2025

Some charging stations on first street would be good

  17. November 12 2025

Safeway Guerneville would be a good spot for charging stations. Help with tourism from SF, local economy needs help.

  18. November 12 2025

Monte rio needs some charging stations

  19. November 12 2025

East side road should have a charging station

  20. November 12 2025

Good spot for a few fast chargers

  21. November 12 2025

Need a site in Guerneville. Anywhere in Guerneville

  22. November 12 2025

    Healdsburg Community Center

We are opposed to this in that location. SHould be near the High School for students and teachers, not tourists.

    Park and Ride

Need a fast charger here in GV. Thanks

  24. November 10 2025

Installing chargers at all Regional Parks would be great.

  25. November 10 2025

    Additional charging in Bodega Bay
