wmata/ddot conducted a connectivity study two years ago to evaulate interward connectivity (north and south) and intra-ward connectivity; what's status of this study? seems particularly relevant with interest in expanding circulator east of the river
recently installed medians/islands on branch ave se seem like a model for traffic calming and road diet for sheriff rd, the c st ne project is another model; have started to see bike riders using roadway as well which raises need for improved multi-modal opportunities
slumlords ie paradise at parkside need to do more to plow during winter and provide security year round, their cameras don't work.
its not safe to walk to there from the metro station, yet $1.50 for less than a mile bus fare is exhorbitant. why not have a continuously circulating bus that just costs 25c? or better, free? it would encourange more residents to use metro, own fewer cars, and improve safety. i am sure the expense would be recouped before you knew it.
east side of 900 bo 52nd st has no sidewalk; pedestrians walk in the street
45th st is narrow neighborhood street that is a cut-through traffic route; speed humps exacerbate the roadway's narrowness in addition to the school allowing its faculty to park on the street instead of in its parking lot or on 46th st; the school plans to build a new wing which could worsen the parking
new mixed use development slated for 48th and burroughs ave need ddot leadership to incorporate egress from the site at paper alley along with roadway improvements and infrastructure with burroughs great streets
Speeding on Sheriff Rd from Maryland commuters entering and exiting the city; additional cut-through traffic from 45th, 46th, and 49th Streets from 295, Addison Rd, Eastern Ave.
no clear line of site for traffic turning left from 52nd St to Sheriff Rd 52nd St. traffic practically enters the intersection to get a clear line of sight eastbound and westbound Sheriff traffic.
Pilgrim Rest Church has a parking lot across the street. Church personnel stop traffic to allow parishoners to cross the street mid-way in the block instead of directing pedstrians to the crosswalks at 46th St or 47th St. During Sunday service parishoners park on crosswalks and directly at intersections instead of leaving 5'.

minn-burroughs intersection is horrible during rush hour. northbound traffic on minn turning west onto burroughs/kenilworth exchange run the light or turn blocking southbound minn travelers
