Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Safety Action Plan (2024)
The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) are developing a Transportation Safety Action Plan (SAP) for the Flathead Reservation. The goal of the project is to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes for all people, including people walking, driving/ riding in a car, biking, or taking the bus. The project is supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program.
We need your help to identify locations in the Flathead Reservation where transportation safety improvements would be most beneficial.
Use the interactive map to share locations where you have felt safe or unsafe while walking, biking, driving or riding a car, or rolling and tell us why.
If you have ideas for improvements, please include them in the comments!
