Portsmouth Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

In 2014 the City completed the Portsmouth Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan as a comprehensive strategy to make bicycling and walking safe, comfortable, and convenient for people of all ages and abilities. A comprehensive update to the plan is being conducted to determine the status of implementation and to provide opportunities for the community to offer input into necessary updates for future improvements.

Your input is critical as we identify ongoing issues and opportunities for walking and biking in Portsmouth! Use this map to show us where you commonly bike and walk and where you face challenges walking and biking in Portsmouth. See the instructions to the right for more information about how to add a comment.

As you add your locations to the map, please share why or why not the location is enjoyable, safe, and/or easy to walk or bike there. Be as specific as possible.

We are also seeking feedback on walking and biking in Portsmouth via a brief online survey here.

More information about the Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan can be found on the project website where you can sign up for email updates.

Thank you for your participation.
