There as got to be a turn lane into the school. It is so dangerous all the traffic during school hours. A lot of money has been spend to make the area around paradise elementary safer, time to make ponderosa safer too
I dread this merge every time I go to magalia. Almost every time I see an accident almost happen. This could really use a change.
So many accidents right here could be prevented by a round about or a stop light
Skyway and black olive could really use a stop light
Work trucks use sawmill instead of Clark and speed down to get to jobs starting at 5am. It's crazy dangerous to even put out my trash or talk to my neighbors. It needs to be patrolled before someone is killed.
This is a four way stop and in the two years I have been living here, i have yet to come to this intersection and see people actually stop. I have observed people all over Paradise not stopping at stop signs. I feel this is a very dangerous situation.
There are two thoroughfares in this area. Crestview & Valley View. A lot of people drive down Crestview at absurd speeds 35-45 mph. Speed bumps at 40 foot intervals on the straightaways would be a very inexpensive solution to keep everyone at 20-25 mph. Someday a child is going to be hit.
Cars fly too fast here when dropping kids at Achieve Charter
Corner is a blind spot very dangerous for pedestrians and traffic and cars fly through this turn.
Drivers slip and slide loosing control through this sharp turn! very dangerous not to mention highschool students and McDonalds pedestrians not having a sidewalk through such a dangerous turn!
There should be lighting or flashing signals added to all the crosswalks along the bike path. Some are difficult to see pedestrians at night.
I would love to see sidewalks and speed humps on Bille. Cars fly done this road, 40-50 mph. I live on Bille and my kids and I would love to feel safe riding to the park.
This corner is very dangerous and I have seen many accidents here including a car that crashed into my front yard. There should be more signs to tell people how sharp the turn is.
Southbound traffic on Foster (just south of Black Olive) is often speeding. Would love to see more traffic enforcement in this area.
This area of skyway (Princeton road and paradise apartments) is dangerous due to the high speeds of traffic with limited visibility on the curve. Vehicles are ignoring posted speed limits. Very rare to see someone doing 45 in this area. Accidents are happening here regularly and it is only a matter of time before there is a head on collision. I have had many close calls with cars coming in my lane while waiting to turn left onto Princeton or the people from apartment trying to turn left and driving behind me in the turn lane. cross traffic drivers are sitting ducks. The turn lane is not sufficiently safe and extremely short. Limited visibility and speed from the traffic coming and going down skyway makes it very dangerous to cross. It would be safe to say a light or some sort of traffic regulation here would prevent more accidents and keep pedestrians safe who walk/ride the bike path.
There should be wider roads going up and down all of Scottwood, along with sidewalks and street lights. There are people always walking and riding bikes up and down this road including children and they have no room to do so.This is not safe and is very dangerous as when driving you have to veer off into the other lane to let them by or completely stop affecting the traffic in this area. Please, lets make a change here! Thank you.
Virtually impossible to turn left from Buschmann onto Clark.
Skyway at Clark - Dreadful merge from Clark to go up Skyway - Merging+Faststrip+Soon-to-be-FastFood-place. What if it became All-Way-Stop intersection? Understandably, the commuters would not like that. Possibly extend center turning lane up Skyway? This is one of the worst intersection in town.
Pearson is very dangerous. No sidewalks, no lighting. Curves. I can't understand why it wasn't included.
Although Pentz Road from skyway to town limits all has high traffic flow at times the area along pentz that I would like to see addressed is wagstaff south to Pearson road. School and hospital traffic has increased exponentially making it a safety concern for the children attending school and those accessing the hospital. There has also been a significant increase in commute traffic from Paradise pines to highway 70. Basically as a concerned citizen I would like to see the road widened as in front of the hospital allowing turn lanes especially at ponderosa school Expanded paralllel parking could also be created in front of the school by adding drain conduit and filling in the deep bar ditches by the school. Driving by ponderosa school around 2:00 in the afternoon on a school day would help someone understand this problem clearer
Southbound Skyway just north of Bille should be clearly striped as 1, 2, or right turn only lanes. It's currently only a single lane, but is wide enough for 2 and differing expectations by drivers can be dangerous when crossing the intersection.
Wagstaff is a a major road that guides residents from the center of town and back, its lack of sidewalks keeps the residents marooned to their homes or must traverse the dangerous road by walking, this includes children who are taking the bus to school. Help paradise become an example of what it means to live in california!
This is a major residential area that needs sidewalks for residents to access both skyway and Billie park safely, and is a major school bus route. Let's keep updating paradise as a safe place for residents
This stretch of Neal is dangerous and needs side walks for people to connect to the bike trail and side walks on skyway
Adding one lane for through traffic both North and South on skyway has been horrendous for those of us who live on the small streets with no other exist besides Skyway. I have seen so many close calls because people try to use the middle turn lane as a throughway. I'm well within walking distance to our local pet store and I will drive instead of braving the walk and even with crosswalks, traffic gets so backed up that when there's a clear break for them to travel, they ignore the cross walks completely.
