There are enough parking spots within this lot. However, they are very narrow and do not allow enough space between vehicles when parked side-by-side. There have been occurrences where someone hits another vehicle with their door because of the narrow distances between then spots.

Drainage in the parking lot for building 4280 needs to be reworked. During snow melt Inner Loop road has to be shut down and re-routed because a pump has to drain the parking lot of 18 AGRS/372 TRS. Pump is usually operating for minimum of 5 days.

Please add more patrols or some manner of speed abatement to French Creek Dr in this area; as a resident on Polar Wind Ct, it is not an uncommon occurrence to watch vehicles traveling in excess of 40 mph down this road at all hours of the day (more so in the evening / night). The safety hazards presented to children and other personnel using this road for exercise, transit, etc are growing as the population grows.

Where was the water drainage planning member when this parking lot was planned and constructed? Water in this area was over 2 feet deep and cutoff access to 30% of the parking capacity during breakup.

Map needs to be updated to include Fox Lake. While only seasonal, the addition of this lake is crucial for personnel who work in the 18 FS/AMU as water presents numerous parking / personnel transit issues. During breakup and rainy season the water collecting in the parking area cuts off one of only two routes to the Fox den aircraft shelters as water is frequently upwards of 18-24" deep. Add to that the addition of the second part of the lake which collects ALL the mosquitoes known to inhabit Eielson, and the conditions outside of bldg 4110 are miserable and cause undo hardship for those members meant to fly / maintain Eielson's premier Aggressor fleet.

This entire stretch of Quarry Road is a mess; frost heaves, unrepaired potholes, and flooding of the roadway in rain and breakup only serve to worsen the condition.

PLEASE add this intersection and loop road to the priority list for snow/ice removal and gravel treatment during the winter. On numerous occasions during this past winter the AMXS personnel were utilizing unit-owned bobcats and snow removal equipment to make this road usable. The intersection becomes quite treacherous during the late winter months as hard pack accumulates and results in dangerously slick conditions.

Parking issues in this particular area notwithstanding, the road leading back to buildings 1358 and 1361 is just wide enough for two vehicles, yet leaves no room for pedestrians who use this road daily to transit from 355 AMU parking to both AMXS and the 356 AMU (bldg 1338). No sidewalk was ever constructed and this present and increasingly more dangerous situation when walking down the road during winter conditions.

There will never been enough parking availability for both AMU's. We're constantly gaining more people between both AMU's. For turnover purposes, especially during exercises, it is extremely difficult to find parking.

Parking at the 356 AMU should be addressed soon. Parking at the 355 AMU is becoming limited because parking at the 356 AMU is not available at all so most to all of the spaces are being used at the 355 AMU which leaves the 355 AMU personnel nowhere to park

The South Gate should be open. It would save so many man hours for this base if we didn't have to wait so long at the one gate that stays open

There's a dip in the road here big enough to give you vertigo and probably do some damage to your vehicle's undercarriage/suspension.

Open the South Gate (or put in a new one that satisfies explosive safe-distance requirements) to inbound AND outbound traffic, yearround. For people who work on the south end of the base, this saves 10 min per day (roundtrip) for people who live north of Eielson and 30 min per day (roundtrip) for people who live south of Eielson. This equals over 10,000 man hours SAVED on commuting for AMXS personnel every year.

Honestly the gate should be expanded to more than the three gates. Or there needs to be a second gate somewhere else. There is so much traffic here and if a car breaks down leaving then there is no other way to get off of base. There has to be another gate.

Water always seems to gather here and on North. Not only during breakup, but during periods of heavy rain. I understand there are jot curb draining, but there needs to be paths for the water to move to the earthy areas.

Flight line needs to be resurfaced, there's a pot hole that has been there the last three years. It's bumpy because they just put the lines over the cracks.

Somewhere over here is the Satellite DFAC, there is NOT enough parking there at ALL, and this is a new facility.

This is for the whole road, not the specific spot. This whole road is TERRIBLE. So many pot holes that are "fixed" with gravel that doesn't last. The edged of this road are jaggy and rough, which should matter unless you are moving away from the pot holes. It's also really bumpy. I don't think this road is paid much attention to because of how far away it is, but it needs attention..

Flooding issue on road and sidewalk as well as well into the kids park. Happens during breakup and also when it rains. Difficult to drive or walk as well as loss of play area for children.

Parking at the 356 AMU is not sufficient. The majority of people who work here have to park on the road, AMXS, AGE, or 354 parking lots that are also limited in space. A few spots will be opening up soon when construction is done, but it will not be enough to address the issue.

F35 AMU parking issues are flowing into the AGE parking as well. Contractors, AGE and AMU personnel are all trying to find parking, leaving zero parking for the people that ACTUALLY work at these locations.

Is it possible to have all lake access points on base cleared out during winter months?

A death turn in the winter. This spot never gets any gravel spread on it

Brand new building for hundreds of people to work out of/use...give or take 40 tiny parking spots that don't match up the the HBOs.
