Melville Street is between North Street business corridor and First Street. The Boys and Girls Club and YMCA are located on this street have many clients who walk and park in the adjacent Melville Parking lot. Also, Barrington Stage patrons us this street to park and walk to the performance. Lighting is a major concern for this street. Improving will provide a sense of safety for the community.

Eagle Street connects the North Street business corridor to the newly remodeled Berkshire Common park. This street has terrible elevation issues with sidewalk deterioration. If this street was improved it would provide a path and connection for many with disabilities living at The Common who are in wheelchairs.

This crosswalk could be identified with improved signage or something that would attract more attention to it, as drivers tend to realize there are pedestrians waiting to cross.

This intersection is in need of being looked at to make more pedestrian friendly especially for those with mobility issues. This is a high pedestrian traffic areas during school times when students are travelling to and from the building.

Dunham Mall is an important pedestrian pathway from North Street corridor to City Hall, Police Station, 1 Berkshire and the First Street Parking lot. There is severe deterioration of brick pavers causing tripping hazards and ponding.

Another pedestrian pathway that connects visitors parking at the McKay Street Parking lot to the downtown North Street corridor. Currently, this area has many tripping hazards, brick pavers are deteriorating and are causing severe tripping hazards. Lighting is needed, potential area for street furniture and green space and signage.
