Patchwork of sidewalks on Floating Feather between park and Ballentine/Eagle Road

  2. June 27 2019

A pedestrian signal at the stoplight would be a life saver

  3. June 27 2019

Patchwork of sidewalks - have to use state/44 to get from neighborhoods near/off Linder/Floating Feather and Ballentine

  4. June 27 2019

Thanks - the adjusted/added lane is a miracle. More like these would be awesome

There is no painted crosswalk to cross Horshoebend Road at Floating Feather to the path to Eagle Bike and Sports Park. This intersection is designed for cars only. I have stood right at the stop sign, only to have vehicles going south on Horshoebend stop and then continue through the intersection as if I weren't there.

  6. June 25 2019

Bike lane needed especially in the winding sections. lot of bike traffic that comes from Beacon eagle etc

  7. June 25 2019

Crosswalks are necessary on Old Horseshoe Bend Rd between Hill Rd and Floating Feather Rd. It is unsafe for pedestrians to dodge 45 mph traffic to get across. Additionally, there is not continuous sidewalk on the west side of Old Horseshoe Bend Rd.

A bike lane on both sides of State Street HWY 44 needs put in between Eagle and Boise. My husband and I like to go to Northgate on our bikes or even as far as Collister. There is no more direct and less hilly route than along State Street. We're both retired and hills (ie along Hill Road) are hard on our knees.

  9. June 25 2019

Create a public walking path from S Chipper Way to the Greenbelt.

  10. June 25 2019

Please create a public walking path in close proximity to Wedgewood, Castlebury, Spyglass, etc. neighborhoods. Banbury (North of Chinden btw Eagle and Locust Grove) constantly has trespassers on their private path. A public path for these neighborhoods would benefit those who live there needing a public area for walking.

the 4 way stop at Horseshoe Bend Rd and hill road is very difficult for young cyclists. MY kids would love to ride bikes to rolling hills and Optimist youth park, but the intersection scares them.

  12. June 24 2019

I would love to see more walking & bike paths in Eagle, but this one is right in the middle of my already small backyard!!! Thank you.

  13. June 24 2019

I would love for my kids to be able to ride their bikes to downtown Eagle but there is no sidewalk on this section of road. If a sidewalk was added they could get to the library, Grueber Park, etc.

  14. June 24 2019

Need a sidewalk here. The residents of Sedona Creek cannot safely walk "around the block" Escalante, Maricopa and Linder because there is no side walk on the east side of Linder between Escalante and Maricopa.

  15. June 24 2019

Would like to see this section of the trail expanded on the south side of the North fork Boise river. Long term vision is to have a circuit that extends along the perimeter of Eagle Island.

  16. June 22 2019

Would love to be able to cross from the S side of the river to the N side without climbing up over the barrier and walking the side of the bridge.

  17. June 22 2019

Really need a safe way to get from here N to the greenbelt trails. Riding along eagle is very dangerous, especially where the bridges are. It would be great to have a bike-only bridge/tunnel at the river crossings similar to the one near the Hilton Garden Inn.

  18. June 20 2019

I would like to take my young children, who are very capable cyclists but still children on rides to Eagle Island but with only a small shoulder, do not consider Linder safe enough for anyone but very confident adult riders. As Linder south of Hwy 20 and North of Hwy 44 is being expanded, it would be great if Linder between the two was expanded and made safe for bicycles and pedestrians.

The more paths and sidewalks for bikes, walkers, and runners this community can add the better. Eagle should thrive to be a community promoting safe non motorized transportation, and this includes connecting bike lanes, green belts and non paved trails.

  20. June 18 2019

Bike path or continuous sidewalks badly needed on this part of Ballantyne.

Like normal ACHD and the city are focusing on irrelevant issues. Whatever happened to the days bike users had to act like vehicles? Pedestrians walked against traffic for safety. We certain all did okay growing up and with very few incidents. We most certainly do not need to waste the money on walking and bike paths. Eagle was suppose to be country setting not an urban jungle. Perhaps instead of spending the money on worthless studies when we need so many other issues resolved would be more prudent. I do have to agree the money spent on chip sealing is a waste of time and resources. Studies show chip sealing does not work and only gets ACHD from one budget cycle to another. In many cases the fog coat is missing literally in the street and in the bike lane. This is why bicyclists avoid using the lane. Perhaps if ACHD would finish what they started some of these issues would clear up. Finally ask yourself who is paying for this and how will it be funded?

  22. June 17 2019

It would be great to be able to go North South on Eagle. The shoulder is great at some points but inconsistent. Same goes for the sidewalk. Going across the bridge areas does not feel safe

  23. June 17 2019

A bike lane on Floating feather from at least Hwy 16 to Ballantyne (tie in with existing bike lane just past Ballantyne) would be incredibly helpful for all the riders who live in the neighborhoods off floating feather. Right now with 40mph speed limits (and people driving 55+) and zero shoulder, not to mention chip seal making the edges of the roads a treacherous wreck, its incredibly dangerous to commute or ride for pleasure.

Also pedestrian traffic is very dangerous along the same roadway.

  24. June 17 2019

It would be great to have a pedestrian\bicycle protected part of the bridge to make North\South riding possible.

  25. June 17 2019

Can you pave this section of the greenbelt?
