Need better Pedestrian crossing options in front of High school. When school is in session in the morning, this area is so congested and so many kids are crossing the street here. It is also dangerous as it's a East/West road and sun gets in drivers eyes during peak pedestrin crossing time.
This area from Glanbia until just before the intersection of Washington St S and South Hills Rd would greatly benefit from being widened to accommodate a left turning lane. Congestion is constantly present, but even more present between 6am-9am and 4pm-6pm Monday-Friday.
As a city mail carrier who crosses Shoshone at Main Street I have almost been hit more times than I can count due to cars speeding and drivers on their cell phones. Place lights there like you have at the cross walk on Washington St N. Slow the speed limit down to 15 mph between the two one way streets.
