Speed limit should be reduced between 3900 E and I-84. 65 mph at the dangerous pair of intersections is a little quick.

The two intersections on ID 50 are dangerous and should be combined into a single intersection at 3900 E.

This intersection would be much improved as a roundabout. Line of sight angles for US 50 are difficult.

US 93 between Golf Course Road and I-84 needs a third lane in each direction.

This intersection needs to have a flyover/overpass for US 93 traffic to bypass the traffic lights.

An additional crossing of the Snake River Canyon is needed. I do hope that the plan is to abandon the crossing which was being examined for Eastland and Poleline. The truck traffic in that area is bad enough. It would merely exacerbate issues that already exist in that corridor. I am speaking from a rather NIMBY perspective as I live at the intersection of Eastland and Cheney, but this makes no sense to me to have a bridge almost parallel to 93.

Need a dedicated right turn lane on the southbound turn on onto Pheasant Drive. Currently only a wide shoulder exists that everyone uses in-lieu of a real turn lane.

Need to widen and add streetlights to Orchard/Balanced Rock Road between N2800E and 3600E to accommodate the many new neighborhoods that have been built in the last 5-10 years.

Park Ave, Harrison st, Pheasant rd, and Valencia st are some of the widest roads cutting right through neighborhoods. These roads are wider than a drag racing strip. Which means cars are driving like they are on a race track. These roads urgently need to be narrowed and slowed down. 35 mph is insane through a neighborhood, but even worse is that people drive faster than that due to the wide open race track/highway they are given to drive down. These roads should be no wider than 2 lanes with a speed limit of 20 mph through the neighborhoods.

The southbound right turn at Pheasant road is unsafe. The road widens for no reason leading to unsafe interactions between bikes and cars. Cars will get over and speed up to race down the roadway to turn passing bikes on the right. Please eliminate the right turn lane like the rest of Washington St S

Washington Street South has a bike lane that is full of rocks and debris. It is also not a lane. It is just a shoulder line with a bike symbol painted on it. Please maintain it like a lane and include full paint to outline the lane and not just a shoulder.

This section of Blue Lakes is part of a bike route and yet has absolutely no safety considerations for those outside of cars. The lanes are not safe due to inconsistent widths. There is no signage or road marking indicating that bikes are allowed. The shoulder is full of rocks and debris making that unsafe for bikes to ride in. There are trees growing over the roadway making it so bikes do not have a clear path. The vehicle speed increases drastically around this corner making it even more unsafe for anyone outside of a vehicle. There is also no sidewalk for pedestrians to be able to safely walk through this area.

The lanes need to be decreased in width to add a sidewalk/separated bike path for others to be able to get through this essential connection across the canyon.

All of Blue Lakes is unsafe for anyone outside of a vehicle. Please reduce driveways, reduce the speed, narrow the lanes, and install safe infrastructure for other modes of transportation

The one way highways through downtown should be much slower and narrowed. They are very unsafe to cross, walk near, or bike on. The roads nearby are all 20 or 25. These roads should match that.

Locust street from Kimberly to Addison is very uneven and bumpy. Making it unsafe for bikes to ride on the edge of the roadway. The high vehicle speed on this residential street also makes it unsafe for bikes to ride in the lane. The road needs repaved and the speed limit should be 20

This intersection is the only intersection with a crosswalk to cross Addison in the east presidential streets and it needs to be more protected. It needs a protected light much like downtown has to cross Shoshone.
