My husband and I have owned our home at 1108 N. Gregson Street for 25+ years. We are overjoyed that the issue is being looked at FINALLY, perhaps, with some level of intent to fix/address the issues. 1) The amount of traffic. 2) The speed of traffic. 3) Large vehicles constantly pounding the street and shaking our homes. I do not know a solution, however "one lane - perhaps a bit winding/one way" with parking on both sides of the street (for Gregson and Duke) perhaps a bike lane on one side wouldn't be a bad idea. It would resolve a lot of issues. Our particular issue is/has always been - we are just over the top of the hill at Demerius and we cannot see oncoming traffic and they cannot see us. At 35, not a big issue perhaps, at 45, 50, 70 mph, a HUGE issue, esp. the large vehicles. Issue needs to be resolved sooner rather than later. Thank you in advance.
