Partnership Project. If this was to be implemented it would need to be in tandem with Pomona. In the Pomona ATP Cycle 4 they show this as a Class IV East of White. Have we talked with them and aligned our plans to create a connected/consistent network?

If Class I is proposed, it should be labeled with an asterisk. This would be highly conceptual, and not logical to the average person based on the current configuration and land uses of Arrow. However, after the completion of the Gold Line, and the buildout of Transit Oriented Development, the need may become more clear/firm. It will be important to separate this from some of the more immediate/actionable components of the plan, as this has been highly controversial in past discussions.

Unclear why there would be Class I lanes North / South West of Wheeler

Does the plan propose Class I separated bike lanes the entire length of Arrow, both North and South? What will this connect to on the San Dimas side?

Class III, allows East / West connectivity to Metrolink / future Gold Line station without the need to use Bonita. Can be connected to 3rd street Class III / bicycle blvd via low-stress streets.

Partnerhsip Project. Use of Fulton provides a North / South route between La Verne and Pommona. Is also used by commuters accessing the Metrolink Station, providing La Verne better connection to this transit option.

If 3rd is recommended as a Class III / Bicycle Blvd, then this should be identified as a Bike Focused Intersection (same as when 3rd crossed Wheeler).

Shouldn't the Gold Line station be shown, and then the plan demonstrates how the network would allow connectivity?

  15. March 23 2019

If there is a Class I / Class II network South of Arrow, why is there no connection on the North side? In essence, this is identified as a Bicycle Focused" intersection, with no proposal to improve the Northbound side.

If 6th Street is being used as Class III - Bicycle Blvd due to connection with Roynon School (appropriate), then it should be routed down C to 5th Street so the East / West travel can continue.
