Is a Class II feasible on the Northbound side? City has indicated in the past that it was not possible as the justification for a sidewalk Class I in this section.

If 5th Street is used as the Class III parallell to Bonita (as is recommended), then it would re-enter Bonita directly across from the 3rd Street Parallell. This would then provide similar, Class III North / South of Bonita.

Class III should be continued to San Dimas Canyon. This route is used to avoid East / West Travel on Arrow.

The recommendation is Class II northward, and Class III southward?

Partnership Project - La Verne should work with owner of this section to provide a complete/logical design along Damien.

Class III - This is a common low stress alternative to Damien, allowing access to Gladstone / Ramona / etc.

Critical Gap - Plan needs a low stress network to reach and navigate around the middle school for La Verne. Where logical streets are not fully within La Verne's span of control, they should be identified as partnership projects to work with the other entities.

Partnership Project - If this road was fully in La Verne it would probably warrant a Class III, and already has good edge markings. Partner with Pomona to complete this segment. Allows access to Foothill businesses without need to travel on Foothill.

Class III - This leads to the signalized crossing into the Commons, one of the primary destinations for shopping / eating / misc. businesses. If this was not designated as a route, how would people North of Foothill access these businesses?

Class III - Connects the two routes to the two bike/pedestrian bridges over the 210 freeway

Barrier - provide curb cuts to allow flow onto/exit bike/pedestrian bridge.

This should be on a list of low-cost items to be merged with other sidewalk/curb improvement projects.

Should be Class III connecting to existing bike/pedestrian bridge over 210 freeway. Provides direct access to the Commons Shopping Center for those north of freeway, and direct access to Emerald Park for those south of the freeway.

This should be highlighted as "conceptual", as this would require significant coordination with CalTrans which is in control of the street, and it was recently repaved. A protected may be possible, but it should not be the focus / distract from the more immediate, implementable projects of this plan

Parntership Project: San Dimas has given indications they do not believe this is part of their existing bikeway network (although it has high bicycle usage). La Verne and San Dimas should partner to complete this road between Golden Hills and Arrow, as they share sections/boundaries. This also connects La Verne's Creekside development and Foxglen with schools such as Allen and Ramona and is the common route used to reach Old Town safely.

Unclear what this connects to in the neighboring city. If the intent is to connect with College Way, should route be extended to College Way? Does this map link with ATP from Pomona to create a connected network?

This should be identified as a "Bike Focused Intersection" same is it is at the Foothill / 210 onramps/offramps. However, significant improvement is planned as part of the Gap Closure Project in 2019.

This should be indicated as a bicycle-focused intersection. It is high stress due to green lighted right turns, and volume entering/exiting 210 freeway. However, significant improvement is coming through the Gap Closure Project in 2019.
