Needs to be a stop sign for cars on Indian River Road. They do no yield to crosswalk and travel too quickly through this area.

Sidewalk very poor on some areas of Carpenter. Crosswalks not equipped to handle handicapped.

No sidewalk or bike path on this section of 405. Very unsafe.

Where the bike path crosses 46, cars speed through and do not follow the laws for pedestrian crossing.

On Parrish Road the bike lanes on both sides of the road are grown over with vegetation partly or completely in some areas. The bikes lanes are also filled with trash, broken bottles and sand in many places.

Hall Rd. from Courtenay to Kars Park is too narrow for safe cycling use. Drivers get frustrated when oncoming traffic makes passing cyclists difficult. Drivers pass too close. Cyclists fail to wear bright clothing. Accident waiting to happen.

needs sidewalks on both sides of this intersection. the side with the crosswalk doesn't have a sidewalk once you cross the intersection, causing runners and walkers to the edge of the street with little to no shoulder then having the cross over to get back onto the sidewalk

missing sections of sidewalks in this general area causing runners and walkers to move into the street with little to no shoulder.

The new intersection planned for Henry Avenue/Doherty Drive is a nightmare in the making. Henry already experiences heavy congestion that often blocks access to up to five side streets. See video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSholYcoaGw
The city has acknowledged this problem and has put an ineffective band aid on it by posting several signs on the side of the street and on the road surface. But the city is planning road extensions that will make this problem even worse. According to the city's own traffic study, the extensions will induce heavy cut-through traffic via Henry because drivers will want "to avoid the more congested U.S. 192 and Minton Road intersection". Cut-through traffic is notorious for speeding, reckless driving, and accidents. The traffic study predicts Level of Service = F at the new intersection, but the city is not putting in a traffic light. Instead, the city is going to construct the extensions and intersections, and then conduct a traffic study to see if a traffic light is warranted. (The logic seems to be – let's build the bridge and see if it falls down; if it does, we'll build a stronger one.) Since the intersection is a school crossing, this is particularly vexing. So an area that is hazardous is going to become more hazardous. The county also has responsibility here because it is funding the project via transportation impact fees. The project needs to be canceled now. The signs placed on the lines of the road lanes on A1A at all the pedestrian cross walks are very Unsafe. Vehicles are hitting them all the time, every day, causing them and other vehicles to swerve. Trucks, SCAT buses, lawn service & boat trailers can 'barely' fit thru them. They've been up less than a week and you can see how beat up they are already. PLEASE remove them ASAP before there is a major crash. Also, the yellow lights should be changed to red. Cars are not always stopping or try to rush thru. Red will make them stop.

The intersection of Heritage Oaks/Minton is already hazardous, A county study quotes school crossing guards there as saying "they are almost hit by vehicles daily". The city is planning road extensions that will make this worse. According to a city's own traffic study, the extensions will induce heavy cut-through traffic because drivers will want "to avoid the more congested U.S. 192 and Minton Road intersection". Cut-through traffic is notorious for speeding, reckless driving, and accidents. So an intersection that is hazardous is going to become more hazardous. There are similar concerns about the impact on Henry Avenue. The county also has culpability because it is funding the project via transportation impact fees. The project needs to be canceled now. This is the worst intersection I know of for drivers running the red light. 90% of them are eastbound on Jupiter and run the light at the intersection with Emerson Dr. I have GoPro video of a driver eastbound on Jupiter who ran a red light and came within inches of hitting my Harley head-on, as I tried to make a left turn off westbound Jupiter when I had a green arrow. I have complained to the Palm Bay police several times over the last few years. Not sure if they did anything, but the red light running continues.

No safe route for bike southbound on US 1 crossing over Pineda as vehicles are entering and exiting US 1 in a crisscross pattern.

Vehicles traveling southbound on US1 travel exit south on Norwood at a high speed. They have a yield sign to yield to vehicles traveling westbound on the connecting road from US1 to Norwood. However, they are coming at such high speed, having just exited US1 and seem oblivious to the yield sign, that westbound vehicles would either need to yield to them or risk a collision. Perhaps that southbound Norwood should become a stop sign with adequate warning signage.

Would be great to have Share the Road signs for cyclists on the one way streets going northbound and southbound through downtown Titusville. These streets are really narrow with no street shoulders.

Cheney HWY bicycle lane east bound has a big disconnect in the area where there are 2 areas of motorized vehicle right turns. Starting in front of McDonalds to traffic light intersection. I suggest connect the bike lane with more dotted lines to connect the lane and paint the bike lane bright green in that section. Unless you are a cyclist a car driver can not see the bike lane there. Drivers get really mad and close and cut off the cyclist when the cyclist is trying to continue east in the bike lane to get to the traffic light on Cheney HWY and south Street.

This intersection should be a three-way stop. People are using Haven Drive as a shortcut from 192 to Henry Avenue and are constantly speeding through. If three stop signs are inconceivable, maybe adding a second one on Haven going onto Naylor would be useful. Another option might be speed bumps throughout the entire neighborhood.

This intersection would significantly benefit from a traffic signal. There are nearby transit stops, significant cross-traffic from Forest Run Dr and the Baptist Church of Southern Brevard, and frequent close calls with pedestrians and bicyclists as vehicles "rush" to make left turns when a narrow gap appears in traffic. Traffic along this stretch of Wickham Rd has increased in recent years resulting in an increase in close calls and non-vehicular traffic in this area.

Frequent and significant speeding in this area, especially during rush-hours. Despite the proximity to MPD station, traffic on this road is often faster than posted speed limit.

Significant pedestrian jay-walking at this location. Between Lake Washington and Lansing St, specifically, pedestrians can often be spotted crossing the street mid-block, pausing in the middle lane, and causing traffic to stop to avoid collisions.

If we are to encourage the use of public transportation, we should provide safe, clean, lighted bus-stops that protect the individuals waiting, or getting off buses. Therefore, I recommend constructing safe, clean, lighted (with solar/wind where possible) bus-stop enclosures at all applicable current and future bus-stops. These are excellent areas where commercial ads could help fund them. This recommendation applies to all current bus-stops.
