I would bike from west to east on Archer if there were a continuous protected bike/walking path. There is one that stops before the I-75 intersection. The health of the community would increase if we could build exercise into our daily routines going to close by stores but it’s not safe. No one will be comfortable biking/walking without a separated path away from speeding cars.
-
Please make road repair the MAIN PRIORITY of road funding. Our roads are TERRIBLE. Many adjacent and supposedly poorer counties have way better roads than Alachua County.
-
City planes dod not evalute the housing projects hight traffic volume that impact the the community. If you will only see all the near traffic accidents every day you will rethink using your surveys why the community does not walk or bike from tower road to Tioga and beyond.
-
235 and 235A have terrible road conditions and high truck traffic.
-
There is no sidewalk from this point to 13th street. Also no sidewalk on 13th street. There is no sidewalk or crosswalk to cross 53rd to get to homedepot and no sidewalk on 13th until after home depot.
-
Neighborhood Signs:
Share the road Pedestrians, Bikes, Cars -
Reccomend a Pedestrian crosswalk with Pedestrian crossing lights
-
There is no crosswalk to get from the pedestrian path to the park. To use a crosswalk you have to walk up to the 43rd street intersection.
-
This area should reduce to one lane after the turn to the park - give enough road to clear the intersection at 34 but then eliminate the second lane. This road is used as a passing zone with people going 50-60 in a 35. Worse, they start speeding as soon as the cross 34 while still in a school zone.
-
Close this street down to drivers! No need for car traffic here, obvious and intuitive spot for high traffic pedestrian centered, family safe infrastructure instead of constantly dodging drunk drivers.
-
PLEASE put a lighted crosswalk here. Dozens of people cross this street every day and cars rarely stop or yield. I'm sure the police towers y'all put up to surveil the site 24/7 will show just how many people cross this street every day. Spend money on a crosswalk, not the ridiculous panopticon surveillance that no one asked for.

6th desperately needs a bike lane or bike path. 4 lanes on 6th st. Makes people drive fast. Many large trucks going over 40. It seems very unsafe to bike on the road.
-
It would be good if university bus routes extended farther north along 13th and 6th st
-
Extend bike path to connect directly to UF campus
-
Add / Improve bike lane along 13th to university
-
6th st. From 39th to university is unsafe for both cyclists and drivers. Ideally would like to see protected bike lanes and changed from 4 to 2 driving lanes with a designated turn lane in the middle. I have been in two car accidents on this road caused by people stopping to turn.
-
Lot of car and bike traffic here. I wish there was a designated bike line, both for when I'm driving a car, and for the times I'm biking. This also applies to south of 8th Ave.
-
Bike lane in north and south directions is very narrow, grass encroaches into the lane. The bike lane ends at 16th forcing cyclists into road way or side walk
-
No pedestrians crosswalks. Needs lighting and pedestrian activated signals. Road is very wide and students are frequently crossing to get to bus
-
35th has very high pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Cars are able easily exceed 30mph speed limit. Intersection at 35th and 27th is very dangerous for pedestrians ans cars. Could use a traffic circle
-
no safe area for bikes or pedestrians
-
There is no crosswalk across from the street that leads to 2 schools, 2 neighborhoods, and the Masset Park complex, forcing bicyclists and pedestrians to go down to 34th St and 16th Ave, a very busy intersection. It would be helpful to have crossing possible here, at least during school zone times.
-
Several neighborhoods on 16th Ave use 22nd St to get to and from 8th Avd and University Ave, but the road is dark, narrow, and although a separated sidewalk exists, cars pull through it without looking when entering 22nd St. and it is shared with pedestrians who may not want to share with bicyclists
-
Physical separation for bikes needed from speeding traffic far exceeding speed limits along NW 8th ave between NW 22nd st and NW 31st drive
-
CR1474/ CR219a is a bad intersection and grass gets high on all sides before Public Works gets out.
