This could be a great road for cycling and walking. Road is full of pot holes. Need more sidewalks in places. Reduce speed.
The sidewalks here need widening. Cars are too close to pedestrians going across the bridge
NW 6th is terrible.
University Ave. should be a major overhaul,
The road surface here is extremely poor
Need some crosswalks to reach bus
Speed limit to high with many tractor trailers exceeding speed limit, and often passing as well. It’s dangerous to even check mail or cross the road and forget about trying to walk on the road, drivers don’t move over for walkers.
Butler plaza and surrounding area is as dangerous a place as I've ever ridden a bicycle. They had the opportunity to create real bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and they didn't all alachua county ever does is give lip service
SR-26 is a raceway. Send more law enforcement!
This part of 85th Avenue all the way to Williston Road must have lower speeding limits. (1) the surface of the road is NOT built for speeds over 40 (maybe even 35), (2) this road is not wide enough for two large vehicles to pass each other at speeds over 35, (3) the road is getting torn up from these larger vehicles and the number of vehicles on the road, (4) there is not dividing line for this road, especially considering all the traffic this road has (5) Riding a bike on this road has become dangerous, and (6) since there is likely a huge housing development will be in the making on these large parcels of property for sale, traffic will multiply exponentially causing further road degrading on both SW 85 Ave. and SW 75th St. Thus, the need for a road repaving and widening with a bike lane will be much needed soon..
Bike trail from High Springs to Newberry
142nd St is narrow and littered with debris on both sides causing it to become a one lane road in areas. People drive too fast for these conditions.
No speed bumps and no stop signs. People speed every morning. Not safe to ride bike on this stretch
98th St. is so poorly maintained that the road is now a series of poorly patched potholes. The patchwork quickly comes away from the hole, and the roads continue to deteriorate. This is a road that leads to schools, residences and places of worship. This should be a priority road to repair as it also connects two main roads that are critical when there are accidents on Newberry, 39th or I-75.
Surge Area drive needs a bike/walking path. The bus stop on Archer Rd. Needs a safe way for people to access the museums, Natural Area and sports fields without having to walk or ride in the street around the curvy road.
235A from Santa Fe High School to 236 is in such poor condition for students and homeowners to have to drive on it.
the trail curb is not flush with the crosswalk and causes wheeled traffic to scoot left (or west)
in order to use the flashing cross signal, cyclists have to dismount their bikes or carefully maneuver over to the button
visibility is not great here and the roundabout is so small it seems to create confusion as to who arrives at the intersection first and who is yielding to whom.
through traffic at this roundabout come in at very high speeds, specifically N-S or S-N
NE 8th Ave does not have dedicated bike lanes. It's a very narrow ROW but it would be nice to continue the bike paths from the west.
University Avenue should have better pedestrian, cyclist, and transit infrastructure. I think this includes grade separated, protected bike lanes, dedicated bus lanes, and higher quality sidewalks.
break down of bike connectivity between SW 16th Ave - SE 16th Ave and main
The sharrow here is not bike friendly
Safe walking and biking paths with separation from drivers through the length of Parker rd
MUP or separated bike lane desperately needed on this corridor (NW 8th Ave, between Newberry Rd and NW 34th St). Lots of walk/bike use and two schools, but no bike facility whatsoever. The 5' sidewalk becomes very busy, even hazardous!
