Lot of car and bike traffic here. I wish there was a designated bike line, both for when I'm driving a car, and for the times I'm biking. This also applies to south of 8th Ave.
Bike lane in north and south directions is very narrow, grass encroaches into the lane. The bike lane ends at 16th forcing cyclists into road way or side walk
No pedestrians crosswalks. Needs lighting and pedestrian activated signals. Road is very wide and students are frequently crossing to get to bus
35th has very high pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Cars are able easily exceed 30mph speed limit. Intersection at 35th and 27th is very dangerous for pedestrians ans cars. Could use a traffic circle
no safe area for bikes or pedestrians
There is no crosswalk across from the street that leads to 2 schools, 2 neighborhoods, and the Masset Park complex, forcing bicyclists and pedestrians to go down to 34th St and 16th Ave, a very busy intersection. It would be helpful to have crossing possible here, at least during school zone times.
Several neighborhoods on 16th Ave use 22nd St to get to and from 8th Avd and University Ave, but the road is dark, narrow, and although a separated sidewalk exists, cars pull through it without looking when entering 22nd St. and it is shared with pedestrians who may not want to share with bicyclists
Physical separation for bikes needed from speeding traffic far exceeding speed limits along NW 8th ave between NW 22nd st and NW 31st drive
CR1474/ CR219a is a bad intersection and grass gets high on all sides before Public Works gets out.
8 inch deep potholes. Weight restriction violations by semi trucks.
This traffic circle is too small
Needs bike lane
Dangerous intersection. I wonder why there isn’t a traffic circle here?
A trail connecting downtown to San Felasco is highly required. People would use it a lot, just like Hawthorne trail.
need a traffic light for traffic to make left from 4th on to 62nd also for pedestrians to cross safely
this area from cabana Beach to forest park does not have a sidewalk and is not lit up very much at night. very dangerous area east and west bound..
this area over I 75 has no sidewalk. People walk in the bike lane very dangerous
Campus Walk drug dealing, loud vulgar "music" make it dangerous to go out at night. Higher police presence would help the elderly that live here and pay rent.
Most dangerous intersection in the county. If it hasn't happened already someone is going to die here. Desperately needs a traffic light.
53rd is extremely dangerous to drive or ride on especially in the rain due to road deterioration and the huge grooves in the pavement. Most dangerous road in Gainesville.
NE 9TH is in dire need of repair and is dangerous to drive and ride on in it's current condition. Walking is safe as it has good sidewalks up to 23rd but they should be extended to the North end.
NE 7TH AVE is missing, or even worse, broken sidewalks and a narrow busy street. It is dangerous to walk on.
This neighborhood has alot of dog walkers, bicyclists, and foot traffic. It has no sidewalk so the residents have to just walk in the road. There is almost no lightening as soon as it turns dark it is extremely dangerous. I know getting a side walk is not realistic but if more lighting is possible it would make our neighborhood alot safer.
No sidewalks, although many disabled folks who use scooter chairs in this area and other mobility devices
There is a "roundabout" in this location. I use quotation marks because it is hardly a real roundabout and does not serve its intended purpose. People speed down the entirety of NW 31st Ave and use our neighborhood as a cut through from 13th and 39th to get to Glen Springs Rd faster. The worst is typical work traffic in am and pm. We have children playing on our street daily, and most people fully disregard the speed limit. I have also seen many people traveling east to west use the south side of the road, going in the wrong direction, to avoid slowing at the "roundabout" because that south side is completely straight and requires no slowing down to pass through. Even the north side barely requires people to slow down.
