SLO County should become a "Dark Skies" county. Lighting should be minimized throughout the county and more lights should be required to be turned off at night. There should be more landscaping to screen glare from highway.

Create more alternatives for travel during special events in Pismo - both to get to events and to avoid congestion when trying to commute past 5 cities area on 101.

Do more to preserve rural views and avoid strip commercial development seen from the highway between Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria. Remove billboards throughout the 101 corridor.

Protect and preserve natural, undeveloped rural views between SLO and Shell Beach. Do more to encourage county businesses to stagger work hours to lessen congestion on 101 during weekday 5-6 pm. commute hours.

An overhead bike path structure should NOT be allowed in this beautiful view. The path should go under the bridge.

Shoulders on both sides of the South Higuera St frontage road should be widened for bicycles and it should be signed instructing bicyclers to only ride single file.

There are way too many large billboards lining both sides of the highway at this entrance (and exit) into SLO. They should all be removed.
